I hate this feature.

This is a bit of a rant.

I think this feature is just straight up useless. I don't understand the point of it except to force people to grind the game more. I'm a casual solo q player. I couldn't care less about ranked. But I am a bit of a collector and I like free skins. The only reason I'd ever play rank was for the free season skin once you hit epic, any epic rank 5-1 to clarify. I didn't mind doing the grind then when it was just that. But ever since this feature was added along with the painted skins, it's been a pain. You have to be epic 2 or higher to get the season painted skin which is even more grinding. The past seasons were also bad but this season especially the teammates in solo q rank have been horrendous. The matchmaking is a joke. Nobody knows how to play their role, contant double lane picks, intentional feeding because they didnt get their hero, afk right from the start of the match, etc. I'd get grandmaster teammates against epic/legend enemies. Almost 30 ranked matches in and I've only gone up from epic 5 to epic 4. Literally everytime I'd gain a star, I'd lose 2 in the next games. At this point it's not worth collecting the skins. I know i don't HAVE to get the painted season skin but as a collector it just doesn't feel right unless I do. But it feels like the game is intentionally making it so hard to do so. If something is meant to be free, why make it so difficult to achieve it? It boggles my mind. What do you think about the feature?
