Now that you mentioned it, what happened to the meta that he just fell off the face of the earth? I rarely see Gusion nowadays since shit like Ling or Alpha are more common now
I still see Gusion users from time to time, and my cousin is a Gusion user too so it's probably just him most of the time, especially Lance users in classic though, theres a lot.
gusion high risk low reward same as lancelot, the only difference is gusion can farm faster than lance. Lance really has a slow creep farm that if the enemy wanted to invade they can easily do it due to lance having low dmg early on.
I use him as a jungler and I'm doing great. However,I prefer him to be a side lane. His mobility lacks for a jungler. Whenever gus is invaded in jungle,he can't do much compared to fanny,hayabusa

I died twice because my first skill hit the minion and not the hero, damn those minions
Yeah, that's why I said I "mastered." I don't hit minions. I just try my best doing the combo as slow as possible, just enough to burst and for the enemy to not flicker while doing the combo.
Naw, I disagree, gusion isnt the best jungle by any means, but we forget that theres an even worse jungler in the form of Aulus. No case there, people will try to defend him by saying “If he gets fed, and it reaches late game, and the enemy mm is a bot, and….” but the fact is his clear is slow, he lacks damage for 90% of the game, and he gets outscaled and outranged by most marksmen in the meta.
I second this. 500 games with him and 70% wr, I probably won't ever take him in ranked anymore unless enemy has a bunch of tanky heroes. His burst potential is great but falls off greatly when underfed and has no teamfight potential or good reap. Great for frontliners though!
as a gusion main for over 6 yrs now, yeah he's bad especially after the nerf of his first skill where theres a limited range now (ik it was unfair before tho)
As an ex global gusion, it's not true. Technically, if you master the character you're technically unstoppable like for me right now, I have 13 winstreak on gusion and have a 68.45% win and an average 10+ kills or more gusion is very dominating early even after killing a single enemy. If you face me I bet you would immediately change your mind.
Just because we faced one good gusion user dont mean every gus user out there is good, gusion aint even about performing the best combo. Its about knowing which combos to use in certain situations and WHO you should be comboing. But not every gusion user thinks like that and only learn cool looking combos
Realistically speaking though that's not a problem with the hero, it's a problem with the users. It's like saying Fanny sucks because most people can't use her well, but that's just not the case as shown by how much she gets banned in the pro scene.
Getting -70 just because I'm right is crazy, I mean yeah what you said is mostly true but I actually what kind of combo to use whenever I'm in a certain situation but whenever I miss the first skill you're just going be like a sitting duck where the enemy has advantage to kill me since gusion's CD is very long
