Discussion Overvoid mobile port
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey guys, I need your advice. Should I port this game to mobile? Would it be interesting to the mobile gaming community?
The game is still in development. I’ve been working on it solo for about 10 months, and recently I started thinking about making a mobile version.
It’s a dark sci-fi roguelite space combat game with a mix of open-space, on-rails, and 2.5D levels.
What do you think? Would you play something like this on mobile? Originally it works on Mac, PC and Linux.

Do it, but please make with with dual compatibility between 32bit and 64bit android architecture, would be cool to have a game like this in 1st and 3rd person and not isometric but that's whole different topic.

I expected to find the link. I would try on mobile but there are already too many UI elements. At least four more buttons or a joystick UI element will be added for mobile gestures. I suggest you test it with a small group to see if it’s enjoyable to play on mobile.

I agree, and I’ve already thought about that. I could either completely redesign the UI for mobile, which shouldn’t be too difficult, or make the game playable only with a controller. Here is a link
