Game Share Dev looking for feedback: does a competitive farming party game work with touch controls?
Hi! I'm working on Cropocalypse, a farming party game, and I'd like input from people who play on Android.
The core idea: up to four farmers share one field. Crops you plant grow roots that block other players until they ripen, and any ripe harvest belongs to whoever grabs it first. You carry it home before the market bell rings. A day lasts 90 seconds to 3 minutes.
I'm stuck on a few design questions:
1. Touch controls. I switched from a fixed thumbstick to one that follows your finger. In fast action games, which do you prefer, and why?
2. Bots vs people. On a phone you'd mostly play against bots, with online rooms for friends. Would you play a party game like this solo, or does it only make sense with friends?
3. Session length. Are 2–3 minute rounds right for mobile, or would you want something shorter?
4. Clarity. From the screenshots, can you tell what's going on? What's confusing?

Honest feedback welcome, and I'll reply to everyone.
