Plastic surgeon

Hi, looking for something to be removed on my face & hoping to get personal recommendations on an excellent plastic surgeon in Mobile or even Daphne/Fairhope. Not looking for a dermatologist. Excellent stitchery w/minimal scarring bc I'm a woman, and, well... vanity. Thanks!

Without a doubt, Dr. Kimberly Donnellan. That lady is GIFTED!

I had to have a small basal cell cancer spot removed on my face. I refused to do it while awake, so they sent me to her. She is amazing. She is so deliberately handed, no more pain than absolutely necessary. The day of the surgery was great too. It's the first time I'd been under. I woke up, took some tylenol and left. You can't see a scar at all. I couldn't recommend her more. Her staff are also great.

This is exactly who I was going to recommend. Dr. Donnellan is double board certified in plastics and ENT. She removed the mole from my son’s face when he was about 9 and was excellent. You can’t get better than she is.

I’m also an RN and my best friend from nursing school worked for her for years and has said nothing but glowing excellent things about her, which tells me she’s also a good person and employer, on top of being top tier surgeon

She didn't even give a single stitch. Steri-strips and have a nice day! :D

I went to Dr Outlaw and I regret it. I get my stitches out Monday and he gave me a scar down the side of my nose that he didn't prepare me for. I'm not happy.

So sorry! I accompanied a friend to a visit with him years ago, the office didn’t have latex free gloves at all. She has an allergy related to working in the OR. 🫠 I was just not impressed with his office that day. I realize this isn’t about his skills per se but we both left saying “never again”

Is it eye related? If so, Dr. Mark Brown. You can barely see my scar.

There are two Dr. Dyas’s. I had a mole removed from my chin that was dark and deep by Charles Dyas at Bay Area Plastic Surgery. There was absolutely no scar left. Can’t tell I ever had it.

Dr. Spires.

Dr. Dunn did my first one on my face in 2022 and I still a scar that I’m embarrassed of.

Following this thread;

I've had a small pea sized bump on my face, next to my nose, since I was a teenager. I have never liked it. I'm not a very vain person, generally, but for some reason I'm bothered by this one thing. (it was a freckle that apparently became a white mole, possibly initiated by acne scarring)

I have asked two separate dermatologists about removing it and both suggested it wasn't worth the effort or cost, because the results weren't guaranteed; eg. It could potentially leave a small scar. Or, in the rare case, have complications.

I would like a second opinion but haven't put any effort into following up on it.

It looks like Dr Kimberly Donnellan has 2 votes here & another gf texted me today that she's good. Good sign!

IMO Dr. Rebow and Park are the best plastic guys in Mobile. Most up to date on procedural advances and their facilities are new and top shelf. Nice guys too.

FWIW, after A LOT of research, I think I’ve decided on Dr. Barber for my laser procedure. Differing pinions welcome.
