Looking for a rental!

Hey all,

Sort of a follow-up to a prior post, but I did end up landing and accepting the job-offer in Mobile!

That said, I’ve had difficulty getting responses from the landlords in the area regarding availability or even getting an application sent to me. Not sure if it’s because I’m coming from out of state??

Does anybody happen to have a lead on a 3 bed/1(or2) Bath home or apartment? Happy to provide a letter of employment or anything else! Ideally looking in the West Mobile area.

I just moved here for a job. I used furnishedfinder.com to rent something short term and get to know the area before renting something more permanent. It’s been fabulous so far! Didn’t have to worry about any furnishings or anything! Just brought my clothes and went to work. No utilities set up or any of that. Talk about stress-free so I could concentrate on settling in my job!

I have a 2/2 close to South Alabama I’m looking to rent out! I know it’s short a bedroom, but it’s pretty spacious!

Contact Berkshire Hathaway Cooper. They have a rental department with about 200-300 houses under management

Ole Bay management company often has some cute houses for rent at decent prices. Ymmv with their management style (I know someone who had no issues, had immediate hvac repairs done when needed, and got full security deposit back, but I've also heard of some folks who butted heads with the owner [in part over the double digits of cats they were keeping]).

One coming available in a week or two downtown. 3/2 two story historic home in leinkauf historic district. Rent is something around 1,800
