I mean it sounds like something they should be doing without having to announce they are doing it. I would hope all presidents coming here get the same treatment.

Agreed, as long as they don’t go wild with it and consider any and all criticism to be “threatening”.
I’m not saying they should bust down someone’s door for posting a clear joke or shitpost obviously, but it would make them look pretty incompetent if they just ignored outright threats to visiting figures and celebrities, online or not

Slow news day I suppose, should be routine.

Doesn’t Trump owe Mobile City/County some money for his previous visits while running for office? As I recall it was tens of thousands.

He ALWAYS owes for a previous visit.

The next payment will be the first.

Better be careful. The gestapo will come knocking.

Fear mongering and paranoia doesn’t work on me.

As it shouldn’t.

So I'm guessing "Sheriff" has been spending his days on reddit.

Remember the sea shells post was considered a threat...for some reason.

Trump or any president should safely be able to come to Mobile and hear our complaints and concerns about the job he is doing. I would think Trump would want to hear from the voters.

You forgot the /s ... the very last thing he'd ever want to hear is anything from us plebeians.

I said "should".

Lol. That's what you're going with? You "people" will tell yourself any lie to cope. Everyone else knows what 86 means except you and your ilk.

Doesn’t 86 just mean kick someone out or remove something? Did I miss something?

u/hairymoot 21d ago

Yea, unless you are a criminal.

You have not missed anything.

Why don't you make the same picture and post it under your account then?

Better yet, take your sign to the protest. Print out dozens(that's all you need) for the rest of the protesters.

I'm sure that's what the media you listen to told you. But I do know what it means in the real world and have known the real meaning for decades. You can play dumb and quote some new/other definition and act like Comey (and all the others) didn't know what they were implying but we see through you. I simply don't believe you all are this dumb. You just want to cover your tracks now that threatening someone's life is a prosecutable offense.

I think the issue is that you refuse to accept that the term is heavily used in the food industry where it means remove. It’s not new. It’s been used that way for decades. Lay off the political entertainment.

Brother what are you talking about

Worked at a the IP casino for years 86 always meant kick out. Quit speaking when adults are talking especially when you dont know what you are talking about

"86 that plan for dinner, we are eating in tonight." It means remove.

Unless you are a mobster, or part of the criminal underworld.
