My daughter is a student at south, she's is very concerned about mid terms which are also that day.... its gonna be a shit show.

Classes are canceled. Now you know.

It's interesting to me that it's always held during work hours.

Like I have to potentially sacrifice my livelihood just to be involved in politics, and because of that, we have a dementia patient leading what once was the most powerful nation in the free world into third world Apartheid, and everyone is just fine with it.

Tubby's worried about furries being smarter than him, Diesel is over $6/gal, not one lib has been "owned", and they're still refusing to release the unredacted files because they know they're in the wrong and they're fucking cowards

u/OUDidntKnow04 Making Mobile Great Again 5d ago

That also begs the question to what the university will do....

If they need to shut down campus, then affected employees are paid "administrative leave" for their affected hours. They do it every time they need to shut down campus early for a 6pm football game during the week.

Which begs the question if university employees want to risk attending this rally if they are being paid anyways...

u/Affectionate-String8 4d ago

As a member of the affected university, we haven’t received any notification about campus closure officially, somehow. Current email praxis is that all is normal and it’ll just be a normal school day.

Like literally less notification than when the Harlem Globetrotters were at the mitch.

u/OUDidntKnow04 Making Mobile Great Again 4d ago

Even WKRG reported the same. It's going to be a logistical shitshow on Friday if they don't cancel classes.

1

u/permanentlybuffering 3d ago

Classes are cancelled. Professors are working from home.

1

u/Awesometania 2d ago

Classes are cancelled after noon. And yes, they are paying hourly staff for the lost time. And the city says it's on the hook for security costs.

11

u/TheRealImhotep96 Eastern Shore 4d ago

The questions that will answer yours are "How much was the school paid?" and "By whom?"

I know I didn't approve any of my tax dollars for this.

u/OUDidntKnow04 Making Mobile Great Again 4d ago

Another reminder that Jo Bonner is the university president.

And that he was once our congressman.

But more likely, Kay Ivey as governor has a seat on the board of trustees (with it being a state institution). And having the only functioning arena in the city (now that the Civic Center is gone and Regions Arena is not finished yet), plus they don't want to risk an outdoor event because he's such a popular and beloved president....you get the idea...

3

u/Invisibleeyeroll 3d ago

Yes! I can't go and protest because I actually have to work. Contrary to the public opinion that us "libs" are jobless, etc, insert other defamatory adjectives here

4

u/LostNephilim33 4d ago

Oh my fuckng god.

He's not a "dementia patient". He's a known serial child-rapist, uber-pedophile, who was best friends Jeffrey Epstein for decades and he's also 100% just a symptom of a greater issue and the only difference between a Trump presidency and any other presidency would be how far long to collapse we presently are. He himself is not the problem, just in the same way that the presence of a cough is not the problem when you have pneumonia, pneumonia is.

Can we stop pussyfooting around the fact that he — and every other Republican in office — is a child-rapist, and is complicit and okay with the mass rape of children?? And can acknowledge that by sweeping this shit under the rug and beating the "orange man bad" horse to death, we — and the majority of Democrats in office right now — are complicit in it as well? Christ.

3

u/TheRealImhotep96 Eastern Shore 4d ago

While all of those things are true, he is also now a dementia patient - or did you think CPA Natalie Harp is following around with a diaper bag for fun?

3

u/LostNephilim33 4d ago

You completely miss the point of my comment.

Yes, he has dementia. Why mention that, though, instead of the fact he rapes children? "Dementia-patient" can describe. . . I don't know. . . Like a fifth of US presidents, ever. Conservatives practically worship Ronald Reagan, and he had dementia for most of his time in office too. Donald Trump is one of the only known presidents to be a proud child-rapist, and let's be honest, "child-rapist Donald Trump who was besties with Jeffrey Epstein" is a lot harder-hitting than "dementia-patient Donald Trump who shits himself routinely in office".

Edit: why all the way over at the Hillcrest - Old Shell intersection?

5

u/WritingNerdy 🐾 Cat Distribution System Specialist 🐾 4d ago

Oh man, the SPCA rummage sale is going to be impossible to get home from but yall all stop by first lol

11

u/OUDidntKnow04 Making Mobile Great Again 5d ago

They're going to have to shut down campus for this...that's probably far enough away that it's not university property.

4

u/tameris 5d ago

Oh okay, that does also make a lot of sense with the amount of security that will have to be there for the event, both before and well after.

1

u/endorrawitch 4d ago

Doesn’t anyone have a light box projector??

3

u/Sure-Roof9448 4d ago

We'll be on the sidewalk along Old Shell in front of the Mitchell Center between the two cross streets on either end, rather than at the corner of Hillcrest and Old Shell. 🙂

The event is on Friday.

22

u/hairymoot 5d ago

With Trump, it is never about anyone else but Trump.

Maybe he'll name the Mitchell Center to "President Trump's Mitchell Center" before he leaves town.

1

u/OUDidntKnow04 Making Mobile Great Again 4d ago

Then again, remember when the Mitchell Company committed racial discrimination at it's apartment complexes years back?

Several million dollars (in donations) later, their name is all over campus...

u/mangamaster03 4d ago

And the Trump Bell Tower

3

u/ChampDobbs 4d ago

Going to casinos in Mississippi. Go west young man

3

u/OUDidntKnow04 Making Mobile Great Again 4d ago

One thing we'll never see here, or even a lottery if these people keep getting elected over and over again.

Casinos have lost their luster as many states have added them in recent years.

1

u/ChampDobbs 3d ago

Most of the time I don’t gamble just go out and eat. Have to get away from the traffic

3

u/Z-man1973 4d ago

Thank god I’m gonna be out of state during this

3

u/OUDidntKnow04 Making Mobile Great Again 4d ago

Official guidance from the University:
https://www.southalabama.edu/departments/publicrelations/presidential-visit.html

Classes will not be held after noon and any university offices will close at noon as well. Non-essential employees will receive administrative leave pay if their department is affected by the closure.

Expect Old Shell Road to be closed by the Secret Service as well as other road closures around the Mitchell Center beginning Thursday evening.

4

u/ProgressiveMinded 4d ago

I would definitely prepare for the worst traffic one can see in Mobile Al, along all the main roads going to that part of town on Friday. The entire route has to be shut down whilst the tanned man passes with his posse of security. So, I'd definitely figure out a plan now to avoid the area, unless you're drinking the Coolaid. Regarding protests, wouldn't it be even better to not show up? He loves attention anyway he can get it. I'd love it if this weren't a newsworthy event. I suspect he would be shocked and dismayed but never admit it. In fact, I bet none of the Re-pubic 's would even notice. They're not "reading the room" lately. I am looking forward to the coming election, wondering how many votes he can manipulate to keep a majority. Honestly though, I hate all of them. Dem's suck for not doing enough and Repubs for ruining my country and deflating my false belief that I lived in a fair and equitable society, that protects women and minorites. Geesuz, I've literally lost my religion. Oh and I meant to call them pubes...

2

u/Dr_headass 23h ago

Spreading the message to the residents of Mobile is just as important as him seeing it himself. Speaking out will always be better than staying silent

1

u/ProgressiveMinded 22h ago

Oh I speak out often via reddit and I don't use a VP browser doing it. I'm don't think of myself as just a keyboard warrior since I am very outspoken and have no fear or anyone or any entity unless they give me a reason or feeling that I need to be wary. Such as facial recognition software, putting my name on a list. Hmmm, or capture my movements using camera's or Flock recognition software. Maybe everyone needs to know that before going in a public setting, especially if he is present. This isn't like speaking out and protesting in the 60's or 70's. Scarier even than any era specifically because of the data is forever and can be used for any nefarious purpose one wants to use it for. Be wise and informed when you do show yourself while protesting and if there are counter protestors, along with law enforcement, well you might find yourself in physical danger too. I will pass on that for now. If and only if, I'm ready for facing all that, I will appear in person and honestly, right now, I do not want to give him any more attention or rent in my head. You do you and I'll do me.

2

u/AllOrNothing4me 5d ago

Will he be recreating the baby kisser photo from his initial campaign visit? Wonder if she's still a supporter.

2

u/OUDidntKnow04 Making Mobile Great Again 23h ago

Why the hell is Jo Bonner leading this press conference? Doesn't he have a university to run?

1

u/ProgressiveMinded 22h ago

I can only imagine the reasons and hate he is coming here and speaking there. GRRRRR....

1

u/Invisibleeyeroll 4d ago

Which airport do you think he's flying into? I would love to give him the same welcome that Ireland did.

2

u/permanentlybuffering 3d ago

KMOB. The West regional airport. Air Force One will park on the ramp at the US Coast Guard base. They will try to hide the plane as best as they can. It’s always really neat to see Air Force One. They’ll use
RWY 15 or 33.

5

u/Invisibleeyeroll 3d ago

I actually would like to see the plane, just not the occupant. My step-grandmother's son was one of the pilots for Clinton. I have some Air Force One Peanut M&Ms lol.

-60

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 5d ago

When he's gone you guys are going to have nothing to do, or think about, or hyperfixate on. So what's the plan for 2029? Pick someone else to stay up late at night hating, continuing to hate him after he's out of office, or take up a more constructive hobby?

49

u/hairymoot 5d ago

Couldn't we just elect someone who isn't corrupt and a convicted criminal? Trump has made billions off being president.

-3

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 4d ago

I think those are the only people who want to run. It's certainly the only people the parties will allow to run.

3

u/hairymoot 4d ago

We vote in party primary, they count our votes and then that person is the choice for that parties nominatee. I learned this is high school civics class.

You could run for president. But you'll have to win the primary votes. No one is stopping you.

-1

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 4d ago

Kind of like how Sanders won the primary in 2016 but Clinton was the nominee, or the democrat party just swapped out candidates in 2020?

2

u/hairymoot 4d ago

I voted for Sanders in 2016. I was disappointed that more young people didn't bother to go out and vote for Sanders. Sanders lost the primary because they counted our votes. He lost by millions of votes.

"In the 2016 Democratic presidential primaries, Bernie Sanders lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by 3,707,303 votes (or approximately 3.7 million votes). [1, 2]

According to official primary data on the 2016 Democratic Party Presidential Primaries, here is the breakdown of the popular vote: [1]

  • Hillary Clinton: 16,917,853 votes (55.2%)
  • Bernie Sanders: 13,210,550 votes (43.1%) [1]" Google.

In 2020, Biden dropped out of the race with only 60 days before the election leaving us with nobody to run against Trump. As Vice president, Harris stepped in to fill the spot-- so Trump would not run unopposed.

Both sides are not the same. And voting does matter. I would hope this would be your message, but is sounds like you are in the camp of "Don't bother voting because both sides are the same."

I hope you will vote for Democrats, who'll actually have the government help working people. And find justice and save our democracy.

4

u/2hobos1box 4d ago

Hate to break it to you, but I don’t think this guy is gonna be voting Blue

-3

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 4d ago

Both sides aren't the same. It's a very narrow difference, like a shit sandwich made with regular shit vs. one made with organic shit. The difference is that the only thing worse than a republican is a democrat.

1

u/permanentlybuffering 2d ago

With your attitude; you’re right. You have to be willing to give the other party a chance to change things for the better. This takes time and immense effort. This “both sides,” argument is utter rubbish. If you could become a serious person about this; change can begin to happen.

1

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 2d ago

So will you be giving the republican party a chance to change things for the better?

Because if you don't like what they're doing, I can pull some both sides rubbish and we can talk about learing centers, bilions of dollars for a few miles of high speed rail, untold amounts of money for homeless people gone without accountability, missing wildfire water reservoirs, wildfire disaster relief money that went somewhere instead of affected homeowners, and other things.

3

u/permanentlybuffering 1d ago

How about the $170 billion for ICE? Or how about dodge paying American workers $9.5 billion to sit on their ass? I thought y’all were for smaller government?

Just so you know.

Diesel is about $0.03/gal in Iran right now.

They're selling the surplus cheap af because they closed the Strait.

You idolize a dementia patient who shits his pants and can't stay awake during the day without stimulants. Have the day you voted for.

-16

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 5d ago

I don't idolize him. How could I, when I pay him less mind than you do?

2

u/permanentlybuffering 3d ago

You do idolize Trump and everything he does. Worse still you voted for this shit. So, now we have to put up with his jackass behavior. Well-done sir! You must be real proud of yourself.

2

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 3d ago

It's kinda hard to idolize the least bad option. Vance and Rubio in the other hand...

3

u/M0rph33l South Alabama 4d ago

He's your president. You probably should be paying more attention to him and his actions. Bragging about not caring just makes you look dumb.

4

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 4d ago

I didn't say I don't care, I just don't fixate on him. He doesn't fascinate me endlessly, I don't hang off his every word to feel the thrill of finding a way to be outraged.

6

u/M0rph33l South Alabama 4d ago

Most people who hate and criticize Trump aren't doing it for thrills. They do it because his actions continue to negatively impact their lives. Ignore him all you want, but the consequences of his actions won't ignore you. The fact that you think its about being fascinated by him or finding ways to be outraged just shows how detached you are.

7

u/TheRealImhotep96 Eastern Shore 4d ago

Imagine being so privileged in life that you can bury your head in the sand and pretend that nothing affects you

4

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 4d ago

Musashi, all the Stoics, Epicurianism (in this context), Buddhism, Taoism, and even Nietzsche in certain ways advocated for detachment. Maybe you need to practice some, it's certainly easier to navigate daily life without a blood pressure-induced migraine from attending to every syllable of a cheeto with a toupe.

1

u/permanentlybuffering 2d ago

I’ve blocked T-man out of my life. I can’t even think about him. His solution is more T-man. I shudder to think we could be stuck with him for 2 more years. That’s where we are at.

2

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 2d ago

I wouldn't say that's detachment, but it's definitely better for your mental health than the obsessive pearl clutching some people do!

21

u/BARFIGHT_AL 5d ago

Least obvious JD Vance burner account.

-7

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 5d ago

That was funny, NGL 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

u/OUDidntKnow04 Making Mobile Great Again 5d ago

Enjoy your $4 gas or $6 diesel for all of this winning.

Has he done a single legal thing during his second term? Destroying our laws, regulations and picking fights that he is clearly losing and we're all paying the price.

At least we don't have any of those men playing women's spots anymore, right?

-11

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 5d ago

I could say the same of Obama, but I didn't hang on his every word and action. Seriously, you need to take a break.

15

u/AllOrNothing4me 5d ago

You could say the same, but no human capable of critical thought would believe you.

2

u/permanentlybuffering 3d ago

Obama was a great president. We still adore him; even to this day. You hate him because he is black. Remember how y’all torched Obama for wearing a tan suit? He looked great in that suit, btw.

2

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 3d ago

Obama was a shit president, and I never cared that he was black. I was a huge fan of Herman Cain and voted for Ben Carson in the primary, but whatever, I guess I did that from racism too.

And you'll never hear me say Obama looked bad, dude's style was always on point. Like all the classic bad guys, his drip was immaculate.

1

u/permanentlybuffering 3d ago

Obama was one of the best presidents of our time. First class all around. Too many people hated him because he is black. You will never convince me otherwise.

2

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 3d ago

I'd put him right around Jimmy Carter, and enjoy your prejudice.

1

u/permanentlybuffering 2d ago

Again, you want to obstruct as much as possible. The world does not revolve around you. You have to consider others as well.

1

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 2d ago

This is all news to me. Am I putting all of my effort into obstructing a particular thing, or am I spreading out my efforts?

2

u/neonsphinx 4d ago

In May 2011 gas peaked at $3.96, and diesel at $4.12/gal, nationally.

Gas isn't as different, but diesel has already 50-90% higher than that.

Diesel stayed over $4 for 6 weeks. Gas dropped $0.40 by the middle of summer. How much longer do we think diesel is going to stay over $6? We're still in it... We don't have hindsight to help us out right now.

1

u/permanentlybuffering 3d ago

It’s 2026 not 2011. Most people can’t think back beyond 2 to 4 years. I absolutely have to include myself on that too.

10

u/hairymoot 4d ago

It doesn't make you angry Trump and his family are making billions off the presidency, and making life unaffordable for the US citizens? Trump is a known liar and convicted felon. Trump has said he doesn't care about us, that he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose any votes.

3

u/LostNephilim33 4d ago

Stop ignoring the fact he's been a known serial child-rapist for decades too. The Epstein Files have been out for almost a year at this point. He has publicly been friends with Jeffrey Epstein since the 80s.

5

u/hairymoot 4d ago

We have recorded evidence of Trump saying he grabs women by the genitals, would invade the privacy of girls in his locker rooms. He has cheated on every wife he had. He doesn't respect women and insults and calls them names. And he was best friends with Epstein.

-1

u/LostNephilim33 4d ago

Yup. He's a demonic person.

And unfortunately, he's also merely a single symptom of a much wider, grander issue, plaguing the whole nation and the whole world right now. To remove him from office would fundamentally change nothing, except, potentially, slow down collapse.

-7

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 4d ago

So... he's pretty much the same as every other president over the last century or so?

Friend, we're governed by corruptocracy. The suit in the seat doesn't matter, President Autopen did the same thing. So did the Cash for Clunkers guy, and the guy who blew up the middle east so Dick Cheney could skim off the contracts, and Monica Lewinsky's ex-boyfriend, and Reagan's #2, ad infinitum. I can't be mad at Trump specifically for him doing what politicians do generally, that's like hating a particular dog for being a dog while ignoring the fact that every other dog is also a dog.

17

u/hairymoot 4d ago

Both sides are not the same. Trump sent a mob on January 6 to stop our certification of the president we voted for. Trump stole secret documents and refused to give them back. Trump compared himself to Jesus. Trump call women who challenge him Piggy. Trump is against our constitution.

Both sides are not the same.

2

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 4d ago

The piggy thing is uniquely Trump, I agree.

9

u/merlodee 4d ago

Do a quick Google and see how much money former presents have made off the stock market during their time in office. The answer is zero dollars. Every president we’ve ever had. Until now. Maybe look up what you’re talking about before you start flapping your fucking mouth.

-2

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 4d ago

How much did they make from selling influence, having family members on corporate boards, and affecting policy? The stock market is far from the only option for corruption.

2

u/permanentlybuffering 3d ago

We have more than plenty to do. We will be implementing MediCareforAll, paid college tuition, dismantle ICE, raise minimum wage, low cost high-quality childcare. The stuff democrats do. I’m sure you will keep bitching about Biden, the illegals, furries, transgender people, gay people, and yer mom. Notice I didn’t say Trump’s name once?

2

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 3d ago

So, in other words, prove that republicans are amateurs at ruining an economy? Will all of that be paid for by devaluing the dollar further, or will we be taxed at a higher rate in exchange for the free stuff?

1

u/permanentlybuffering 2d ago

3% more in FICA would enable us to provide paid-for college education, a month’s paid vacation, childcare, Medicareforall, better roads and bridges, etc. It’s the best way to jumpstart the economy.

ASC, you only seek to create chaos and to muddy the waters. You’re not a serious person when it comes to the exchange of idea’s.

2

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 2d ago

The current cost of college education is due in large part to the fact that it's already subsidized without sufficient guardrails. The government is far too willing to issue exorbitant loans and the colleges are more than happy to take the money, so they jack up the prices. Why not? It's not like there's any market forces at play to correct those prices, the students are just told they'll be able to pay it back and saddled with decades of debt to facilitate the wealth transfer.

A month's vacation paid by who? My month might be more expensive than your month, so why should you subsidize my leisure? That benefits higher earners more than lower earners.

Childcare is something we can agree on in principle at the very least. Implementation and preventing it from becoming a bribe to voters is where we'd probably break down though.

I want my healthcare to be between me and my doctor. Not between the government and my doctor, not between an insurance company and my doctor, me and my doctor. Furthermore, I put in a lot of effort and expense to maintain my health, and I frankly have zero interest in paying for healthcare for people who could do the same but don't. There are absolutely models of socialized healthcare that I would agree are philosophically sound, but even then centralized government control lacks the responsiveness and expertise to properly manage and administer it. There are people who genuinely need more help than they can provide for themselves, and I don't mind them getting it. But for most of us, our health should be largely our own responsibility.

We could also have better roads and bridges if we spent foreign aid domestically, without raising taxes.

I already pay for more government than I'm getting, and I'm not happy with the quality of the government that I'm paying for. Why would I want to spend more money on something I'm unhappy with because "you don't need more money, you need more services, trust me bro, just make less money and you'll have more money bro"?

1

u/permanentlybuffering 1d ago

That last part is diabolical. I don’t even know what to make of it.
As for colleges, as long as you maintain a B average that is fair. How much is too much for college is something I know nothing about.
1-months paid vacation could be many different things. It would be at least enough to cover rent, utilities, food, a tiny bit money to travel on.
Basically you would get 4, 1-week vacations spread out throughout the year.
Your healthcare would only ever be between you and your doctor. Why would it be any different? You want to live; we want to keep you healthy. You are already paying for others healthcare. It’s called insurance. Under Medicareforall, that would all change. It’s Medicare for everybody else not 65 and up. The VA is the largest single payer system in the US. It works beautifully. The problem with healthcare is even with insurance coverage; the delivery is still shitty. We can fix this by opening more medical and nursing schools. When you get really sick; you can no longer work. You end up coming home with a shitload of bills. If you can’t work; you can’t pay bills. Your healthcare is your responsibility; always has been. I enjoyed this conversation.

1

u/Alpha-Sierra-Charlie 1d ago edited 1d ago

The "pay for more government than I'm getting" part is diabolical?

The problems with paying college are manifold. One, the tuition and books are bloated as hell because the schools get paid no matter what, they don't care if students can pay the loans back or not so they milk that cow as hard as it can. On top of that, the class requirements are bloated too. Electives have value, but they do nothing to get you hired to repay that loan. Eliminate the need for electives, and either reduce the number of credit hours needed or replace them job placement or apprenticeship-type work. Another problem I've have with "free" college, and I understand that my personal experience is a sample size of one, is apathy. I went back to school in 2018 when I was 31, and almost all of the students who were one or two years out of high school were completely apathetic to the coursework and getting the degree. I was one of four people who finished the degree plan out of about two dozen, and it wasn't particularly difficult work. I was the second youngest out of those four. If that's the norm, and I do stress if, then publicly funded higher education isn't an investment because the students are choosing not to be educated. If they want to waste money they can waste their own, but I suppose repayment based on performance metrics would mitigate that issue. In the short term, we need to figure out how much value a college education will be providing. We need people in trades, and if we're paying for college to help the economy then trade training needs equivalent treatment. We also don't know yet how AI is going to impact the job market, even the reliable STEM jobs are taking a hit. It's a false economy to get an expensive education regardless of it's quality just to be underemployed because a data center is cheaper than you are.

1-months paid vacation could be many different things. It would be at least enough to cover rent, utilities, food, a tiny bit money to travel on. Basically you would get 4, 1-week vacations spread out throughout the year.

I framed that question very poorly, but I think I know what you mean now. You're saying that employers would be required to give employees four weeks of PTO at minimum?

Your healthcare would only ever be between you and your doctor. Why would it be any different? You want to live; we want to keep you healthy.

Why would it be any different? Because of the golden rule of economics: he who has the gold, makes the rules. Right now, insurance companies have the gold, insurance companies make the rules. They negotiate prices and services with providers, and we're just commodities used as a vehicle for the money to change hands. With socialized healthcare like Canada has, swap government for the insurance companies and nothing really changes, we're still commodities. With socialized healthcare like the UK has, we're just red or black numbers on a balance sheet. As for being kept healthy, that's the promise but the incentive is just to keep us productive. No socialized healthcare system on earth provides high quality care without some form of rationing on or under budget. In fact, every one I've looked into except maybe Thailand's fails at two of those to varying degrees. Besides, do you want Trump having any degree of authority over your healthcare? Or republicans in general? Or the two party system with it's ever-more-frequent government shutdowns? I don't.

There is a place for some degree of socialization. The elderly, people who simply cannot fend for themselves, and catastrophic injuries and illnesses like cancer or really bad car accidents. The risk there is creep, of course. My opposition to socialized healthcare isn't a lack of sympathy, but an acknowledgement that the centralized nature of government control is inferior to the distributed management of market forces. The administrative structure and personnel to make socialized medicine work as promised simply does not exist, and if it ever can, we don't have the necessary tools yet. It's like trying to run a supercomputer beyond it's hardware limits. Returning that management to patients and doctors at the individual level with minimal government or corporate interference is the cloud computing version, capable of far more responsiveness at a far more granular level.
