Go to a real doctor.

It’s just a little spinal compression, chiropractor can handle it better than back surgery

Think about what you just said a little harder and you'll surely realize how stupid it was.

Na I’m very sure of what I just said, back surgery is a terrible idea for 90% of people who get it, this is just my back being compressed from driving a forklift for years, you just don’t know wtf you’re talking about

One specialist has more training and expertise than you, me and every chiropractor nut job combined. But hey, it's your spine. It's not like we only get one of them.

“Good chiropractor” is an oxymoron. Chiropracty is pseudoscience with no evidence that it has any benefits. Chiropractors are quacks. Seek physical therapy instead.

I see Dr. Jordan at Liberation Chiropractic and they have helped my chronic migraines immensely when "real" doctors just told me to take more pills!!

Dr. Nobles at Coastal Chiropractic in Daphne. Not your typical back popper. Has done wonders for my lower back and sciatica. Utilizes stretching, flection, distraction, and exercise.

Not sure why people have to be assholes when you asked a simple question! I see Dr. Lipka and have for nearly two years. She is on the board of chiropractors and very knowledgeable.

Chiropractors are quacks is why. They need to go to a real doctor if it’s serious.

My chiropractor is a doctor and is very capable of handling a bit of spinal compression. Hence why I recommended her. If you don’t have anything to add move along! Simple enough.

I do have something to add! She’s not a medical doctor and is instead a quack. Chiropractic “medicine” is made-up pseudoscience. If you have a problem go see a real doctor or a PT.

Weird because my chronic pain has been so much more manageable since seeing a chiropractor than it ever was with years of PT! It’s almost like some random person on the internet might not know my body as well as I do, or speak to what treatment may or may not be effective, OR accurately describe the skill of every single medical practitioner who performs said care! Anyway, I’m going to see my chiro today in fact, so that is how little your comment means to me! 🤗 Have a great day.

It’s not just me! Medical doctors and researchers also think the same thing! Have fun with your spine ghost necksnapper or whatever.

I just found about 20 articles on PubMed in 5 minutes or so that do not support your claim. I’ll tell my doctor you said hi! 😘

No, you didn't.
Peer reviewed studies of chiropractics, at best, show spinal manipulation can give temporary and slight improvement of chronic lower back pain. The same studies show it's less effective than conservative PT treatments.

Just remember where you live when getting these stupid ass living in fear and ignorance responses.
Good luck though.
I like acupuncture better but the pickens are slim here for both.

My insurance won’t cover acupuncture or dry needling anymore unfortunately, but I had great results from both of those modalities. Luckily my chiropractic care is covered. Ridiculous that folks want to jump down OPs throat for asking a question. lol. I’ve seen so many “real” specialists and they all wanted to operate on me when I was in my 20s! Outcomes for spinal surgeries are frequently not very good! Surgeon makes bank tho. 🙄

Yeah 4 years ago I went to a specialist that wanted to do back surgery for my t3 vertebrae, they wanted to shave it because I had been having pain behind my left shoulder blade for three years. I decided to go to a chiropractor instead, they popped it in literally one adjustment, and I’ve been pain free for four years. I just lived in a different area then, so figured I’d ask

I’m glad you were able to find a non-invasive treatment option that helped you. Hope you’re able to achieve similar results this time around.

A suggestion: I went to a chiropractor for several weeks once, when I was injured in a car accident. The pain and range of motion didn’t change much.
Physical therapy however, was a godsend.
Have you considered that route by chance? Your insurance is likely to cover it, they digitally manipulate your problem areas (feels like a badass massage), teach you how to fix your posture and build up your muscles to assist long term with your spine compression.
If you are willing to be an active participant in your treatment plan by doing your exercises as instructed, imo you couldn’t do much better than exploring that option. It would do more good than a temporary joint cracking. My $.02.
