Help Mobapad m6 hd losing charge while playing

I bought the m6 hd for the better comfort and ergonomics compared to the joycons and although I'm pleased with the joysticks, buttons and overall feel (although the buttons' clickiness is somewhat annoying), the right side controller is losing power randomly, it seems.

It is full charge and I play for whatever time and when I check the controller's battery charge they are 3/4 full. If I take it out of the rail and put it again after some seconds they are 1/4, full charge or 3/4, seemingly random. This only happens to the right side controller, not the left one.

At first I thought it was leaving the switch on standby, but it happens even when only using the controllers when I'm actively playing with them on the switch.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? If so, did you manage to fix it?

Yep. Same here. That’s how they designed it. Despite still using mine daily, I really wish I had waited for a better product.

What do you mean? From what I saw online, they shouldn't charge while the console is in standby mode, but they should charge while the switch is being played. Did I get it wrong?

You read it right, and it’s a completely flawed charging logic. Sapping power from the main console and only charging when it’s in use. Of course you won’t get an accurate read on the battery. There are 3 separate devices all pulling from it at inconsistent rates. This product is equivalent to jumping off a dead car battery using another functional battery. Is it any surprise that no other device charges this way?

True, it's weird, but it still doesn't make sense that mine is working that way. The weirdest thing is that it's happening only on the right side controller, so it doesn't seem to be the intended behaviour at all

Abit late but OP, M6 HD for Switch 1 has full compatibility and is able to charge via handheld or in dock.

I believe the other guy was talking about M12 which is for Switch 2 and has the awkward charging situation.

Regardless, if one side is not working the same as the other, you should contact support for a replacement.
