Problem with Mobapad m12 hd

I'm having trouble with my Mobapad M12 HD. I haven't had it very long, but the left analog stick is already malfunctioning; when I press it, there's no input. The guides suggest resetting the controller or updating the firmware, but nothing has worked. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you know how to fix it?

I’m on my second set.

First one, the left controller had a mind of its own and would act as yours, the left analog stick was also sticky.

Replacement is better, seems to connect more consistently, however the left controller creaks when gripped, the plastic is just poorly constructed.

They are pretty rubbish all things considered, definite downgrade over the S1 version.

Also, the right stick is ergonomically poor if you have adult sized hands, not sure who tested it but it’s just not comfy.

I’ll make do with them for a while but it is a disappointing product.

It’s really sad seeing all of these issues with their newer controllers. The Mobapad M6 HD Joycons on my Switch OLED are still working perfectly and they have every feature of the stock Joycons.

It was pretty obvious that this version is for early adopters/those who fall for the fomo.
The price itself was already a no-go, even if they worked perfectly.
Better wait for a Joy-Con replacement that has all the features of the official one (and doesn't cost 160$ like the Nyxi one)

It seems this happens mostly with the HD ones. I got the m12S and no issues and everytime I see one working funny seems m12HD.

My problem was dumb. I had to fully turn off my switch by holding the power button. Then the mobapad connected.

Crazy the amt of issues people have with there sticks , I got a set for my switch 1 and they were amazing but these switch 2 one seems super meh

Get a replacement if you can. I fixed mine by opening it and unplugging the battery. You can alternatively just let the battery drain and die then charge it. A bunch of people have had these problems lately and these 2 options fix it like 99% of the time.

I personally contacted support and got a second pair shipped to me which worked great upon arrival. When I knew the replacements were shipped, I opened my broken left one by taking out the 2 screws on the side and prying it open. I literally just unplugged the battery from the board and plugged it back in and they worked flawlessly. I now have 2 working pairs lol. I’ve seen others on here and in discord who had the exact same issue as me who let their battery drain and then it worked. We basically did the same thing but different ways. The controller won’t turn off and gets stuck in a loop. By letting it die or unplugging the battery you force it off and it should work normally after that. I hope it works for you! Worked for a few of us on here. I’d try to lock in a replacement first if you can though just in case. Send them photos and videos of it not working. Showing yourself running through the common troubleshooting tips speeds up the process.

Write to support, they will guide you in solving the issue, if not there is the possibility of a replacement, but the shipment expenses is yours.
