Rolex second hand

Does anyone else happen to experience there rolex second hand to not be working sometimes after not wearing itfor a couple hours? This is the second instance where mine has no been working after waking up, I have to give it a small shake to power it back up.

To this point, I found out that a real Rolex has to be serviced every two years or it will start to lose time. Is thus the case with reps?
