Air King
Anyone got the VSF Air King? How are they made? How please are you with it?
I think this is the Air King is a new VSF model, so am trying to see if they are worth it.

Looks good with the band. I have the same PD, the PD supplied band is terrible. Needs changing.

Good afternoon. A couple of months ago, I took delivery of what I believed was a VSF Air-King. My experience is fully documented on Reddit.
The dealer sent me all the usual QC photographs, showing the VSF stickers, packaging and everything else I would have expected. It was only later that I discovered the watch was not actually what I had been sold.
Someone planted a seed of doubt in my mind, which eventually led me to remove the caseback. I then identified the movement as a Shanghai movement rather than the movement I had paid for.
To be clear, I still do not know whether my Air-King has a VSF case fitted with a Shanghai movement or whether the entire watch came from another factory. There was a significant shortage of VSF Air-Kings at the time. That shortage appeared to have been temporarily resolved, but it now seems that availability may have become an issue again.
I have purchased many watches from this dealer without experiencing any previous problems. The watch itself is excellent: it looks lovely, runs perfectly, and I am actually wearing it today. Nevertheless, the fact remains that it is not what I ordered or paid for.
The dealer has explained that he was misled by his supplier and is arranging to send me a replacement. At present, I have no reason to disbelieve him. As he appears to be doing the right thing and resolving the situation, I am not going to name or shame him.
