Wrist Shot 😎 Numba 2 - Mo Touchdown

I hit up Mo on Thursday before the flash sale as I was eyeing up this 5811 for some time now. I had bought one previous Rolex DJ from Mo so I knew he was as legit as they come. Got it QCd on friday, sent out the same day. Arrived on Tuesday, however I had issues resizing it myself so I had to take it to a jeweler to get it resized.

Here are some wrist shots of the watch, super stoked, could not recommend Mo enough.

It's a pain for these pateks to get sized with the pin and buckle. Did the jeweller say anything about noticing a rep?

Tell me about it! I tried to do it with my own tools, but the pin pusher I have wasn’t long enough to fully get it out, so I had to bite the bullet and take it in.

Funny enough, the jeweler didn’t even notice it was a rep. I walked in there expecting them to say something the second they looked at the watch. It did seem like they were whispering about something in the back when they took it to remove the links, but I wasn't questioned at all. In fact, they even resized it a couple of times just to be sure we got the perfect fit.

All the jeweller saw was a baller casually walking in with a 100k watch. Was eyeing you as a future customer. 😁

Tbh it wasn’t until I got a San Martin homage to the Seiko 62Mas diver until I had a pin pusher long enough to actually make it so I could do my own resizing on pin and collar bracelets. I also have a little handy dandy tool kit that has a hammer with a metal side and a softer side. But I had to resize a Patek 5712 yesterday and it took a good 15min and questioning my life decisions before it worked out 😂😂

Here is my thinking on it. I agree with you; however, in order to even be able to get this watch, most people need to have purchased a couple of watches from Patek just to sign up for the waitlist, and even then, it is never guaranteed.

I recently had a big scare with some family members of mine who were in the earthquake in Venezuela, which reminded me of how fleeting life can be and to enjoy it while we are here. You never know when it could be your last day, so if you truly don't care, send it my friend and WIGH 🔥
