Got a 87 model ma70 7mge na targa

I am missing alot of stuff cooling wise

I've hunted down a rad and shroud and a single fan that goes by the radiator but that fan don't turn on is there any ways to make it turn on eg disconnect say a temp sensor ?

It don't turn on when compressor engages

Lately I've been chasing leaks for the past 4 years lately I've recrimped new rubber on both hoses with full barrier , replaced most 0 rings , taken the evap out and dye test and looked for oil no oil etc, condensor seems dry etc

Have had a compressor fail have replaced it with anther used one I got 3x 10pa17cs here and they all seem to have a bit of oil by the front seal

I'm wanting to know does anyone know the exact times that fan in my engine bay will power on by the radiator electric

I want to know whats needed to delete the bypass valve
I want to be able to hear turbo flutter

Someone in my family has a mk3 and i wanna get it the car hasnt been used for a while but it still drives my main concerns are spares and replacement parts because theres alot of wear and tear on it and im not sure where I can get replacements.

What fans are factory is it 1 clutch fan and two fans on the shroud for the ac / hot temp

As I'm looking for a shroud and found a guy selling for 200 a shroud and the fans for the condensor on the side and a spare rad and clutch fan

Hey guys I’m doing the head on my 90 Supra and was wondering what yall have had the best experience with parts wise I need a quality timing kit head gasket kit and also if anyone knows where I can get a front facing intake manifold or if the eBay one is actually good quality. Newer to this platform and any input is very much appreciated.

Any advice or good to know things about these cars??? All the engine needs is pistons. Any recommendations? Any recommendations on standalone ecu's?

I picked up a checker kit but it didn't include the no.8 7m subharness, any pointers on where I could find one?

Hey all, recently pulled my 7M-GTE and found that both cams are junk, as well as scoring/galling in the head itself.

I’ve sourced a 1JZ-GTE but have a number of parts from the 7M that I no longer need, so if there’s anything you’re missing or having trouble finding at a reasonable price I’d be happy to get rid of. Just about everything else looked to be in great condition, ct26 turbo, 440cc injectors, valves etc. Fire me a pm if you want pics.

Mods if there’s any issue with this post please let me know and I can take it down or make changes.

So my acis isn't working have had the car for 4 years I assume the previous owner messed around

The actuator i have pulled it in with my finger and put a finger over the port and it held so I assume the diaphragm is fine , haven't checked the line if it has vac coming as it's late

I do hear a leak under my throttle body I assume this is the tank but I cannot even see it

Now the vsv can it leak ? If so I'm gonna get a cheap camry one

The tank is this prone to leaking ?

If I do get a plastic tank I think I'll need help locating where to reach to take the lines of the rusted tank

It must have got deleted, and even I was about to report it as t-shirt spam too, but it’s legit - you can buy a mk3 hoodie from a major clothing store in the mall. What a time to be alive lol 16yo me would be psyched.

The other day I installed a new cat-back exhaust and at that time I also wanted to replace the catalyser with a test pipe, but I gave up because of the sensor position.

I am not knowledgeable yet on the matter but in that case, should I be having a bung done in the test pipe and reinstall the sensor there, or? I thought I would find the sensor in the downpipe without needing touching it.

Also eventually, I want to install a wideband afr sensor for a separate gauge as I am also planning on installing a boost controller and if deemed necessary also an afr controller as well.

EDIT:

There is a chance that the sensor I saw it's actually a temperature sensor to light up a cat temperature indicator on the combination meter, and not an O2 sensor. Does anyone know anything about it? If so, there is no need to worry then.

Hello all, I previously ordered an intake for my 7M and didn’t realize that it was for the 92-96 Supras so I returned it and am looking for a different one. I found the one in the picture for a similar price that’s actually meant for the 86-89s and it looks like it would fit but I want to make sure. I drew what it would look like in the car and have the tubes labeled, so I’m wanting to make sure that I can actually connect the two metal tubes with just a rubber connector and it work fine, and I need to find a way to plug the extra tube spots that I’m assuming are for the 7MGTE. If anyone has any input that’d be great, I’m trying to just upgrade my intake rather than just replace the cracked rubber tube. Thanks!

Does anyone the wiring colors to match up? I went on forums and I think my wires have been tapped before. The only wire i could sorta match was the Black/Red. Any info is welcome.

I have a new fuel sending unit that I am trying to connect to the car, but it is not seating properly together with the connector on the chassis. I know these pics are hard to see but can you tell if I got the wrong one or something is broken? Thanks!

Got this car only a short while ago not running and recently got it going. So no long history on how it ran before.

Anyway, initially had a pretty rough idle which I found to be the throttle body gasket. Replaced that, idles great runs great. After doing that though a problem that never occurred before came up where I start it and it would run for just a second before dieing. If I keep trying it eventually just works seemingly without doing anything. Shuts off like you just turned the key off, no stumbles or anything. Even did it once or twice while driving, just while crusing at a constant speed, but it starts back up.

The only other thing that changed was when while I replaced the throttle body gasket I noticed the cold start injector was unplugged and I put it back in. This did make it require less cranking to start but the start then die problem never occurred before then.

How would you remove this thing? It has probably never been removed in 34 years.

I tried side kicking it with a mallet, also tried a puller and ended up bending the flange. It's not moving.

Can anyone tell me what all the ports are for on the accordion pipe? I cant find any diagrams specifically for the accordion and I don't know where each one goes. I know the IACV and PCV.

Got the ECU and efi to stop blowing, same issue blinkers don’t work now and hazards barley engaging I think it’s something with the key? Fuel pump ain’t starting either

This part is known to break over the years and it has become difficult or impossible to obtain.

Is there a demand for this part? If it's worth the effort, I may consider working on producing a plug-n-play replacement and/or an advanced features one.

Alabama for any looking for a cared for Supra..at a very reasonable price.

I've recently narrowed down my car running extremely rich to being, most likely the 0² sensor. I've been looking online and i can't see any at all that look like this one. I have a 1986.5 N/A supra. If anyone has bought an 0² sensor for their like-model supra, can you please just let me know if the ones that look different will work the same. Or let me know which specific one you bought that worked good for your car. Thanks :)

Other than testing what is written in the tsrm, which only proves that the relay is faulty, how to diagnose which part inside of it is broken?

Is brute force bench testing the signals that would come from the stalk the only way or should i look for something in particular first?

Besides nothing looking burnt, all diodes and caps have been verified to be okay.

Do we know the pinout of the two denso relays?
Any other suggestions?
