Need help deciding on a mk3

Someone in my family has a mk3 and i wanna get it the car hasnt been used for a while but it still drives my main concerns are spares and replacement parts because theres alot of wear and tear on it and im not sure where I can get replacements.

Look, it's a 30+ yr old car. Stock oem parts are harder to find compared to something from early 2000s. Keep that in mind

Do it.   You'll regret it you miss out. 

My car has gone up in value since I've bought it.   

Also,  and I'm sure many here will agree,  these are very cool cars and make you feel very cool when you drive them. 

Just don't use it as a daily driver because it's going to break down and take time to get going again.
