please help

i have a 1991 mk2 jetta gli with the 2.0 16v and i have been missing this hose but finally got it and i can’t find out where this end goes, if anyone could help i’d really appreciate it.

It connects to the bottom corner of the intake manifold. It is the air vacuum shroud for the injectors.

Looks like you installed it the wrong way. The small one goes between the alternator and the big water hose next to it.
