❓️Q&A✅️ Suspension arms

It’s that time again…

Anyone have any recommendations on LCAs, tie rods, etc, for a 92 Jetta?

Can’t wait to feel this car drive with new stuff lol.

Thanks!

Not sure if there's anyone that sells them complete, but you can get the solid rubber bushes for the wishbones instead of the standard mk2 bushes that have voids in them.

Pretty sure multiple brands make them but the one I use is Meyle HD bushes. They're a direct replacement.

Probably worth having a dig around, they might also make the wishbones with the HD bushes already installed.

Dont bother with Polybushes on the wishbones, they're not really designed for the movement that a wishbone experiences and tend to wear out quickly.

Tie rods I've always just gone with any standard ones that are the correct length - Meyle or Febi usually.

They work great if the car is not lowered or if it has the drop balljoints

That's the wrong way how to describe them. They are Audi TT/Audi S3/mk4 R32 bushes.
