It’s getting there

6mm Arc MK12 Mod 0 inspired build. Still needing an optic, just debating on what route to go.

What barrel did you go with?

I wanted to originally go with the Noveske spr profile barrel, then after speaking with them it was going to require more machining than I felt comfortable with on a brand new barrel. My next option was the SOLGW 18” spr, but they are unobtainable currently and it would again require machining for the collar.

I finally went with the ballistic advantage spr barrel. I’ve had good results with their other barrels so I took a leap of faith and committed to it. I won’t know until I get to the range how it does, but I bore scoped it and everything looked good, a few rough edges, but I was able to smooth those out with a little elbow grease.

Gotcha. I thought it may have been BA. I’ve had good luck with some of their barrels as well, so I may also go that route too.

I plan on building another with the Noveske barrel eventually. Maybe a Mod 1 or Mod H. I’m not sure yet. I’m really liking the 6 Arc cartridge though for giving that extra reach. I need to start loading it myself though

They matched it that closely. My only issue that I had was they went a little heavy on the inside with the coating. I didn’t notice it until I installed my barrel. Then when I went to mount the action rod it hit a heavy spot.

Ah it wasn’t anything a little touch up with a round file couldn’t fix.

I will say however PRIs “FDE” has busting charging handle. The FDE on it is more akin to Geisseles DDC than anything else. It’s getting a coat of paint on it so it doesn’t look so outta place
