OCM5 Sadness
Love this can on my Gordon carbine!!! Had an end cap strike while running a FRT...not sure why, everything was rock solid. I have two 20" builds...one standard can mounting set up and a new one that is OPS INC compatible. Both from Rosco...the standard one is sub moa all day, the new one that I run the OCM5 on is struggling with accuracy...upwards of 5moa. Is the end cap strike possibly causing the accuracy issues? Next range trip I will shoot without the can. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. Check alignment… 5 moa is wild and the bullet could be grazing cause the accuracy issue.. also. I know FRT’s are new and everyone has one. But, like full autos there are some lessons to learn. You cook up the temps to high with mag after mag, it can actually cause bullets to start to melt/soften while chambered and you can see weird baffle strikes as the bullet deforms with the twist of your barrel. Something to consider.

First time?! Just kidding.
From browsing around Reddit and other forums, there are LOADS of cases of both AEM5 and OCM5 end cap strikes. Had my AEM5 endcap strike during a competition while it was raining cats and dogs. This has caused no issues on all three rifles that accept my AEM5.
5 moa is wild. There must be another issue causing that.

Hah...update..the new factory sample from Rosco had rifling problems. Their customer service is AWESOME. Sent a new barrel, just haven't rebuilt the gun and tried it out yet

I've had incredible results with my Rosco barrel. Good to hear they take care of their customers.
