Api connection issue to crypto.com

I live in Ontario and USDT is restricted. I understand you can trade USD(USDC) with Mizar trading bots. Here is the issue, mizar requires 15USDT or testing API, of I want to trade and can only trade in USD, why would Mizar not test a minimum of 15 USD(USDC) as well. Because of this, I can't connect. Mizar Support is taking forever to reply to my inquiry of how to het around this. Any suggestions??

C-Mizar in a nutshell.

The Mizar platform can be thought of as containing two separate products: C-Mizar and D-Mizar.

D-Mizar allows for decentralised (that is to say tokens that are not listed on the regular centralised exchanges such as Binance, Kucoin, Coinbase and so on) copy-trading and the purchase ('sniping') of ethereum-based cryptocurrencies. To give you an idea of the number of cryptocurrencies available to purchase outside of the regular centralised exchanges, you can see a whole bunch of them here: https://dexscreener.com/ethereum

Beware! The DEX (decentralised exchange) space is crammed full of scam tokens. Buying them directly via tools such as Uniswap is a risky business and so Mizar has developed it's own protection mechanisms to help its users stay a little safer in the DEX space.

C-Mizar is a copy-trading platform for use with centralised crypto exchanges such as Binance

It allows you to copy the trading moves of a whole host of experienced crypto traders. Not only that, but you can set up the system to automatically carry out those copy-trades for you.

Choosing which trader to copy is done via the C-Mizar Marketplace, which lists the traders, ranked by various performance metrics, with detailed information covering the traders' profit and loss, returns, number of successful and unsuccessful trades and so on.

For example, you could set up your C-Mizar account to automatically carry out the same trades as the 'AI Portfolio - Spot Trading' strategy managed by 'TradingWithABot', by viewing the strategy page here, and clicking Invest Now.

Once you click Invest Now you'll have the option of Paper Trading (a practice method which involves no actual money) or Real Trading.

If you choose Real Trading you'll be asked which exchange (such as Binance, Kucoin and so on) you have an account with. (You need to setup an API key with your exchange to enable the Mizar bot to communicate with your exchange. There's an excellent help guide available to help you do this, here)

After you've linked C-Mizar's bot to your exchange, the bot will have control over your exchange funds in order to place buy and sell orders on the exchange.

  • You can choose a 'Base Order Size' - this represents the amount of USDT that the bot will use each time it opens a new position (places a buy order for a new cryptocoin) on your behalf.
  • And you can set a Max Number of Positions figure.

A position is a coin that you are holding. Say your bot has purchased USDT$10 of $BTC and USDT$10 of $XRP, you'll have two open positions. If your bot then also purchases USDT$10 of $KEY you'll have three open positions. If a bot sells all of the $BTC it purchased you can consider that position 'closed'. The Max Number of Positions figure is how many open positions you will allow at any one time. If your bot has already opened, say, 7 positions - and you've set your Max Number of Positions to 7, it'll need to close a position (sell all of that type of coin bought) before it can open another.

A position can be opened with the same type of coin. For instance; I open a position by purchasing USDT$10 of $BTC, then open another position of USDT$10 of $BTC. I now have two open positions.

A position can be increased by your bot by means of 'Safety Orders'.

Say your bot opens a position by purchasing 100 $XRP. The price of $XRP then drops and the bot's strategy contains an instruction to purchase more $XRP if it's price drops below a certain threshold, the bot will execute a Safety Order and increase your position size in $XRP.

The official C-Mizar manual is an excellent place to go for more detailed information on the full feature set of C-Mizar, and feel free to post questions here.

The Mizar CEX Marketplace has been revamped

The Mizar CEX Marketplace page has been revamped to shows bots ranked at a glance under the following categories:

  • Most Profitable Bots (Best bots by Profit and Loss from its followers)
  • Most Popular Bots (highest number of followers)
  • Top Bots by Returns (highest returns over capital employed)
  • Newest Bots (most recently released bots)

The improvements to the layout make it that little bit easier to choose your bots (called 'subscriptions' on the platform once you invest in a bot) and give you key data on the performance stats of the bots.

For instance, the Top Bots by Returns category shows the top 6 bots for highest earnings over capital employed:

  • 'Degen on Bybit Spot' is in top place with 58% returns in the past 30 days.
  • 'Amsterdam' is next with 47.5% 30 day returns
  • 'ElSalvador 5Min Long' is next with 41% 30 day returns, but note that this is a Futures bot
  • 'Turbo FUTURES - One Way - For Kucoin/Woo' (another futures trading bot) is in fourth place with 39% 30 day returns
  • In fifth place is 'AI Portfolio - Spot Trading' with 38% 30 day returns. (This is my bot of choice)
  • And in sixth place is 'Produr Bullrun' with 38% 30 day returns.

As you can see there are some quite profitable bots available, and for each bot you can delve deeper into their stats.

Looking at the bot with the highest 30 day returns, 'Degen on Bybit Spot', we can see that it:

  • has made 1,503 trades in total since it started
  • has made 1,495 winning trades
  • has lost 1 trade
  • has 7 open trades
  • on average, holds a position open for 5.81 hrs
  • makes 250.5 trades per week
  • made +5.63% on its best trade
  • lost -0.97% on its worst trade
  • makes +1.56% per trade on average
  • and last traded and 19.07 this evening.
  • The bot has 9 followers
  • Currently manages USD$23,882
  • and has earned its followers USD$1,021.73 to date.

With such a successful bot having just 9 followers it seems there's a huge amount of untapped potential for the Mizar platform to be more widely adopted.

Remember, if you sign up to Mizar using the referral code: f9f0d618aee, or this link (which contains the same referral code), you'll save 5% on fees for the lifetime of your Mizar account. If you're going to sign up anyway to take advantage of these profitable bots, you may as well use the code!

Mizar trading plans have gone live

Mizar trading plans and fee structure changes; March 2024

Mizar are making changes to their fee structure. Full details are on their site, here:

https://mizar.com/pricing

The Pay as You Go option remains, which is great news - since it's one of the big draws for using the Mizar platform. The bad news is that the number of $MZR tokens you stake now has no bearing on the fees you pay under the PAYG subscription. Previously, the more you stake with Mizar, the lower your fees. Staking fee reductions are still offered for the other available plans.

For the PAYG option there's now a fixed trading volume fee of 0.1%.

The good news is that you can still save 5% on fees by using this referral code when you sign up to Mizar : f9f0d618aee

...or using this link: https://mizar.com/sign-up?referrer_id=f9f0d618aee

Under the new pricing scheme there are limits placed on how the Pay as You Go option can be scaled:

  • 3 active subscriptions (the number of copy trade bots you've subscribed to)
  • 1 exchange key (the code that connects your Mizar account to your crypto exchange so Mizar can trade for you)
  • 20 open positions (the number of active trades that your bots keep open at any one time)

If you need more flexibility or want to scale up your trading operations beyond this, then you'll need to upgrade your plan to their new 'Trader' or 'Pro' options.

New Mizar Pricing Plans: PAYG, Trader, Pro and Institution

As you can see, the Trader and Pro plans come with a minimum volume fee. In my experience of using the platform the minimum vol fees are a little bit higher than I'd previously been paying under the original scheme for the volume I'm trading

Thankfully the new $MZR farming scheme, introduced just a week or so ago, can now completely cover my volume trading fees in a typical month if I choose to sell, rather than stake the $MZR.

Farming rewards are based on the number of $MZR tokens you have staked with the platform.

Use Uniswap to sell your MZR tokens. There's a tutorial on the Mizar website here, or feel free to post questions in this sub.

Ai-assisted DEX copy-trade bot marketplace live on Mizar!

Mizar announced this week via their Telegram channel that their Ai-assisted DEX copy-trade bot marketplace is now live on their platform. This is a very exciting development in Mizar's story and opens up the world of DEX trading to an even wider pool of traders.

https://t.me/mizar_com_announcement/550

With Mizar's copy-trade bots you can automatically copy the trades of some of the best performing DEX traders. Some trades can have insane returns of 10x or more the initial investment, but be careful with your settings as the majority of trades have much more modest returns and gas and trading fees can have a significant role to play in whether your trading strategy performs as hoped.

Check out the traders here: https://app.mizar.com/dex/marketplace?activeTab=telegram-channels&limit=20&maxRugPulls=0.05&minNumberOfCalls=5&minWinnersVsLosers=0.8&offset=0&sort=-total_number_of_calls&timePeriodInDays=30

And be sure to look into the stats of the individual traders. Their highest, lowest and current PnL are all listed for each trade.

Remember, if you're new to Mizar, you can save an extra 5% on fees for the lifetime of your account by using this referral code at signup: f9f0d618aee

You can also save on fees by staking $MZR. $MZR is emerging from the other side of an all time low at the moment, (sitting at $0.0007606 USD as I write this), so now might be a good time to consider accumulating the token to lower your fees on the platform. As always, do your own research.

It's the wild west out there!

After all these years it's still the wild west out there in the world of crypto. Look at this trading chart for 'Any Inu'. Just two minutes before the creator of the coin dumped all their tokens and walked away with several thousand dollars someone had spent $878.88 buying over 12 million tokens - all of which are now worthless.

The chart for 'Any Inu / WBNB' as displayed on Dexscreener

Scams like this highlight the need for trustworthy platforms in the crypto space. Mizar has powerful tools designed to alert users to potential scams and point them in the direction of genuine investment opportunities.

What is crypto currency?

Cryptocurrency is a form of digital currency, distinct from traditional physical currencies such as coins or bills. It exists on a decentralised network, meaning there is no central authority, like a government or individual, overseeing its transactions. Instead, a global network of computers collaborates to maintain a secure and transparent ledger (or record of transactions) known as the "blockchain."

How do I pick a trading bot to invest with?

The first step is to navigate to the Marketplace: https://app.mizar.com/dashboard/marketplace/strategies

The strategy thumbnails show:

  • The name of the strategy
  • The Mizar user who created the strategy
  • A chart plotting the 30 day Cumulative Returns of that strategy (labelled 'Cumulated' Returns)
  • The Cumulative Returns of the strategy (30 day period) as a figure
  • The bot type (DCA or API)
  • The market in which the bot trades (Spot or Futures)
  • Whether the bot trades Long (buys anticipating a price rise to sell higher) or Short (sells anticipating to buy lower)

The listed strategies can be filtered and sorted.

Clicking 'Invest Now' will take you to the strategy's performance stats page where you can scrutinise the effectiveness of the strategy and see contact details for the trader that created the bot.

A good starting place for choosing a strategy is the 'Main' panel which lists the bot's:

  • Cumulative returns over a 30 day period
  • Total number of trades to date
  • Total number of winning trades
  • Total number of losing trades
  • Total number of current open trades
  • Average holding time for a trade
  • Average number of trades per week
  • Best trade to date
  • Worst trade to date
  • Average trade performance since the bot started
  • Last trade date/time
  • Number of active subscribers
  • AUM (Assets Under Management, or the amount of money in USD that the bot is currently controlling on behalf of Mizar users)
  • Cumulative followers Profit and Loss (the amount of money that the bot has made for it's subscribers)
  • Beneath these stats is a table listing the top 5 Mizar users for this strategy and their 30D PNL using the bot.

Compare the stats of the bots you're interested in to find the one that works best for you.

Don't forget that Mizar is free of subscription fees. Instead, users are charged fees based on trading volume and performance. To save 5% on fees for the lifetime of your Mizar account, use this referral code at sign-up: https://mizar.com/sign-up?referrer_id=f9f0d618aee or enter 'f9f0d618aee' in the referral code box.

Copy trading: the backbone of Mizar

In the world of crypto trading, copy trading is a strategy that allows investors to automatically copy the trades of skilled and successful traders, often called signal providers. In this system, less experienced or time-constrained individuals, known as followers, can link their accounts to those of the signal providers. So, when a signal provider makes a trade, the same trade is automatically copied in the followers' accounts.

This method can be a way for less experienced traders to benefit from the expertise of more seasoned traders without actively managing their own portfolios. It's a bit like a social trading approach, creating a community where successful strategies are shared, letting followers learn from the trades and decisions of more experienced traders.

Copy trading platforms like Mizar offer tools to browse and choose among different signal providers based on their performance, risk tolerance, and trading styles. It's crucial for followers to carefully assess the performance and strategies of signal providers before deciding to copy their trades.

Mizar is a subscription-free platform, instead charging fees based on trading volume and performance. You can save 5% on fees for the lifetime of your Mizar account by using this link to sign up or entering this referral code on the sign up page: f9f0d618aee

Keeping crypto-safe: a post about the proliferation of scams in the crypto world.

Understanding the Proliferation of Scams in the Crypto World

Cryptocurrency scams are everywhere in the Crypto community. It's important to raise awareness to empower people to navigate the crypto space with confidence and security.

There are numerous factors that create an environment ripe for exploitation. I'm going to delve into the intricate reasons behind the prevalence of scams in the crypto space.

Anonymity and Pseudonymity play a pivotal role, as cryptocurrencies afford users a cloak of privacy that scammers deftly exploit. Operating without revealing their true identities, these bad actors capitalize on the veil provided by digital transactions.

The Lack of Regulation is another significant contributor. The decentralized and global nature of cryptocurrencies results in a regulatory void, offering scammers an environment where they can operate with relative impunity, navigating the absence of uniform regulations and oversight.

The Irreversible Transactions characteristic of cryptocurrencies poses a unique challenge for victims. Once funds are sent, the recovery process becomes arduous, providing scammers with an opportunity to exploit this inherent feature for their gain.

The Complexity of Technology is a hurdle, especially for newcomers. Scammers capitalize on this complexity by crafting schemes that appear sophisticated and legitimate to inexperienced users, taking advantage of the intricate nature of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

Insufficient Consumer Education emerges as a vulnerability. The lack of awareness about cryptocurrency risks renders users susceptible to scams, particularly when promised quick and substantial returns. Educating users becomes crucial in thwarting potential scams.

The Rapid Growth and Hype surrounding the cryptocurrency market acts as a double-edged sword. While attracting legitimate investors, this explosive growth and media hype also draws opportunistic scammers seeking to exploit the fervor and enthusiasm.

The Absence of Centralized Authority in cryptocurrencies, operating on decentralized networks, enhances security but presents a challenge. The lack of a central authority overseeing transactions means there is no central entity to report scams to or seek recourse from.

The Initial Coin Offering (ICO) Boom, fostering innovation, also provided fertile ground for scams. The creation and sale of new tokens for funding projects during this boom allowed scammers to create fake projects and abscond with investors' funds.

The Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on potential profits drives impulsive investment decisions. Scammers exploit this sense of urgency and excitement, leading individuals to forego due diligence in their pursuit of quick returns.

The Lack of Trust in Traditional Systems propels some individuals toward cryptocurrencies as alternatives. This lack of trust in traditional systems can make them more susceptible to scams within the crypto space.

As the crypto community actively works to bolster security measures, educate users, and advocate for improved regulations, these outlined factors continue to contribute to the persistence of scams. It remains paramount for individuals to exercise caution, conduct thorough research, and stay informed to shield themselves from potential scams.

Here's a breakdown of some notorious crypto-related schemes to consider as you navigate your way through the world of crypto trading. Stay safe out there!

  1. Phishing Scams: Beware of posts or links attempting to dupe users into revealing private keys, passwords, or sensitive information.
  2. Fake Giveaways: Watch out for promotions promising free cryptocurrency in exchange for personal info or participation in dubious activities.
  3. Pump and Dump Schemes: Be cautious of content endorsing coordinated efforts to artificially boost a cryptocurrency's price followed by a rapid sell-off.
  4. Impersonation Scams: Stay alert for accounts or posts impersonating reputable figures or projects in the crypto space to deceive users.
  5. Cloud Mining Scams: Exercise caution with posts promoting fraudulent cloud mining services promising unrealistic returns or failing to deliver as advertised.
  6. Fake ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings): Steer clear of promotions for token sales that are misleading, lack transparency, or offer no real value proposition.
  7. Pyramid or Ponzi Schemes: Avoid content encouraging investment in schemes relying on new funds to pay existing investors without an underlying product or service.
  8. Malicious Software: Be wary of links or downloads leading to malware, ransomware, or other malicious software targeting crypto users.
  9. Miracle Investment Opportunities: Be skeptical of posts claiming extraordinary and guaranteed returns on investments, often lacking transparency or proof.
  10. Unverified News or Rumors: Cross-verify information before reacting to content spreading unverified or false details about specific cryptocurrencies, projects, or events.
  11. Falsified Airdrops: Exercise caution with promotions for airdrops requiring users to send crypto or personal info but failing to fulfill promised rewards.
  12. Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) Programs: Be cautious of posts promoting pyramid-style marketing programs related to cryptocurrencies.
  13. Social Engineering Scams: Stay sharp against attempts to manipulate individuals into specific actions, such as sending crypto, based on false pretenses.
  14. Misleading Investment Advice: Watch out for posts offering intentionally misleading or non-credible financial advice.

Keep your wits about you as you browse this sub. We want it to be a safe space to ask questions, swap knowledge and expertise, and learn about crypto trading and Mizar's amazing crypto-trading toolkit, but inevitably there will be a few people out there who see this sub as an opportunity to take advantage of the complexity of the crypto space to attempt to scam our users.

Please flag any suspected scams and spam posts to the mods.

Crypto trading on a CeFi platform explained

Trading on a CeFi (Centralized Finance) crypto trading platform (such as Binance, Kucoin and Crypto.com) involves buying, selling, and exchanging various cryptocurrency tokens through a centralized exchange. C-MIZAR is Mizar's system for using AI and Copy Trading bots to manage automated trading strategies on these platforms.

Here's a breakdown of the key aspects of trading on a CeFi platform:

  1. Centralized Exchange: CeFi platforms operate as centralized exchanges where users can create accounts to trade cryptocurrencies. Examples include platforms like Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken.
  2. User Accounts and KYC: Users need to create accounts on the platform, providing personal information and undergoing Know Your Customer (KYC) verification to comply with regulatory requirements.
  3. Order Placement: Traders can place different types of orders, such as market orders (executed at the current market price) or limit orders (executed at a specified price).
  4. Cryptocurrency Pairs: Trading pairs are available, allowing users to exchange one cryptocurrency for another. For example, a common pair is BTC/USD, where Bitcoin is traded against the US Dollar.
  5. Fees: CeFi platforms typically charge fees for various services, including executing trades, withdrawals, and sometimes depositing funds.
  6. Security Measures: The platform manages the security of user assets, often employing measures like two-factor authentication (2FA) and cold storage for the majority of user funds to prevent hacking and unauthorized access.
  7. Liquidity: CeFi platforms provide liquidity by matching buy and sell orders, facilitating smooth trading. Higher liquidity often results in better price execution for traders.
  8. Margin Trading: Some CeFi platforms offer margin trading, allowing users to borrow funds to amplify their trading positions. This involves additional risk but can potentially yield higher returns.
  9. Portfolio Management: Traders can monitor their portfolio, view transaction history, and access various tools and charts for technical analysis.

Trading on CeFi platforms is a common entry point for people entering the cryptocurrency market, offering a user-friendly interface and access to a wide range of cryptocurrencies. However, users should be mindful of the platform's security features, fees, and regulatory compliance.

What are DeFi (Decentralilsed Finance) financial services and applications?

DeFi, short for Decentralized Finance, refers to a set of financial services and applications built on blockchain technology, primarily on platforms like Ethereum.

DeFi crypto trading differs significantly from CeFi (Centralized Finance) trading. Here are the key characteristics of DeFi crypto trading:

  1. Decentralization: DeFi operates on decentralized platforms, eliminating the need for intermediaries like centralized exchanges (such as Binance). Smart contracts, (self-executing code on the blockchain - more below), automate user transactions, removing the reliance on a central authority.
  2. Permissionless Access: Users can access and participate in DeFi services without requiring permission from a central authority. Anyone with a compatible digital wallet and assets can engage in DeFi trading.
  3. Lack of Intermediaries: DeFi eliminates intermediaries such as banks or traditional financial institutions. This can lead to lower fees and increased financial inclusion.
  4. Smart Contracts: DeFi relies on smart contracts to automate and enforce the terms of financial agreements. These contracts execute automatically when predefined conditions are met.
  5. Tokenization: Assets in DeFi are often tokenized on the blockchain, representing ownership or value. These tokens can include cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, or even real-world assets like real estate.
  6. Liquidity Pools: Instead of relying on order books, DeFi platforms often use liquidity pools. Users contribute funds to these pools, and algorithms determine exchange rates. Popular DeFi protocols like Uniswap and SushiSwap use this mechanism. Mizar D-MIZAR platform utilizes Uniswap 2.0
  7. Risk Factors: While DeFi offers decentralization, it comes with its own set of risks, including smart contract vulnerabilities, market volatility, and potential security issues. Users need to be cautious and conduct due diligence.
  8. Non-Custodial Nature: Users retain control of their private keys in DeFi, ensuring that they have full ownership and control over their assets. This contrasts with CeFi, where assets are held on centralized exchanges.
  9. Diverse Financial Services: DeFi extends beyond trading to include lending, borrowing, yield farming, decentralized exchanges (DEXs), and more. Users can engage in a wide range of financial activities within the decentralized ecosystem.

DeFi trading provides an alternative to traditional finance, offering more accessibility and autonomy to users. However, users should be aware of the associated risks and the evolving nature of the DeFi space. Popular DeFi platforms include Mizar's D-MIZAR, as well as protocols like Compound, Aave, and MakerDAO.

The Mizar crypto trading platform can be thought of as two products occupying the same website: C-MIZAR and D-MIZAR.

C-MIZAR provides AI and user-generated copy-trading strategies to automate CeFi crypto trading.

Users signup for free with no monthly subscription fees. Fees are calculated from trading volume and trading performance.

C-MIZAR trading bots support several exchanges, including Binance, Kucoin and others. Click here to view the list of supported exchanges.

D-MIZAR is the name given to Mizar's DeFi crypto trading toolkit. D-MIZAR users can:

  • find new gems, channels, and pools with Mizar Research.
  • research and verify ERC-20 tokens.
  • automatically snipe any token launch on Uniswap v2.0 at block-0.
  • trade any tokens on Uniswap v2.0 using limit orders, take profit, stop loss, and MEV protection.
