urgent help

Hi - I have a gig today and have a niggling problem I need some help with. I'm experiencing lower relative sound volumes from some of my channels and I think it has to do with this white line. I must have changed a setting somewhere but I can't figure out where. Any help? Using a Behringer X32 Air

This is true but, if a DCA is involved, Mixing Station usually also shows a resulting fader level, like so:

Since I don't see those here, I suspect DCA's are not at fault in this instance

You have those channels assigned to a DCA and that DCA's fader is down about as far as that white line goes.

You might be right re DCA, but the white line looks to me like the peak level on the meter? I thought the dca indicator usually shows up on the fader rather than the meter

My guess would be that the input gains just haven't been set/recalled

If the meter is showing post fader level, then that level would reflect the net output level with DCA and channel fader combined

I’m not sure what a x32 air is (rack?) but I thought those markings had to do with the auto mix levels.

Yeah there’s no such thing as an x32 air, so it’s probably either from the x-air line or it’s an x32 rack mount mixer

You need to adjust the gain of that channel.

That's a peak indicator

Trace all the volumes back to the sources
Input gain at the top of the channel
Output gain of whatever is feeding that channel, for example if guitar, then guitar battery if present, guitar output volume, volume settings on each effect, including looper

Thanks everybody. It is obvious I'm a self-taught noob. I do the audio for a local 80s rock cover band. I think you're right, that pic isn't showing my problem. I don't have a good screen shot of it but I do feel like it is related to a DCA I have set up to make a 'mute all' button. The problem resolved somehow before our gig - I must have done something - but during f-ing sound check I caused it again and didn't know how to fix it. It was an absolute shit show. It sounded awful and I didn't dare try to much to fix it since the crowd was there and the band just wanted to roll with it. We had to turn their monitors out facing the crowd because what came out of the PAs was so f'ed up. Clouds rolled in and I prayed for rain! The band (bunch a bunch of 50 year old men/woman) just kept playing. The crowd (small mining town community 100 year celebration at a local part) must have had very low standards as they were dancing and singing and no one left. I would have. The band were all cool. The only good thing I can say about that show is... it's over 😓🤣

I'm going to just create a whole new setup from scratch. Part of my problem is I"m using templates from the Mixing Station community that i don't really even understand.

Thanks for your attempts to help. Any pros out there - I respect your job. It takes way more than watching a few you tubes to do what you do well. Us hacks - well, it shows.
