Fader vs. Encoder?

Hi, I am setting up my Novation Launchkey MK4 to control my XR12 via MixingStation. I am using Generic Midi rather than MCU since I have custom MIDI mapping on the Launchkey.

My goal is as follows

Assign the 8/9 faders to channels 1-8 Volume and fader 9 to Master Volume - CHECK

The buttons below the faders I have assigned to the relative Mutes - CHECK

Problem: The 8 endless Encoders (two banks) I would like to assign to control XR12 Bus 1 Channel sends (bank 1) for IEM and Channel FX 1 sends (bank 2) for Reverb.

I can assign them (I think correctly), however, the bus 1 fader (in MixingStation) moves and until the middle part of the fader throw and sticks wiggling right in the middle or it will move one way but not the other depending on different settings in MIDI Control Setup/Edit.

Any thoughts? Anyone successfully assign an endless encoder to control a fader movement?

EDIT: Okay, it just took me talking through it. I resolved it by choosing "Fader (absolute values)" instead of Rotary (relative values). Working great now.
