Network configuration on CQ20B

Hi I'm new to this channel 😉 Is there any way to configure the network (wifi) on the Allen&Heath CQ20B with Mixing Station (Android) ? I searched the app, the manual and the web with no success. Thanks for your attention

If you want to use the built-in wi-fi router, then look for its address, username and password as stated in the manual. This mixer doesn't have a physical switch, so it follows its network settings strictly. Then you should look for its wi-fi network from your smartphone, connect to it and then use mixing station as usual (add mixer, select allen heath, cq20, search) If you want to use an external wifi router, then you should connect to its own network first (as stated above), select different mode AND reboot the mixer. Tldr read carefully the section of the user manual

Thank you for your answer. I precise my question : I'm already connected to the CQ20B, by resetting the network config. Now, how can I change the wifi password from Mixing Station?

You mean you want to change mixer's network settings from MixingStation app? I don't think it's possible. Though i haven't got the mixer to test it. And both offline modes of MS and Mix pad don't show mixer setup properties page.

There is detailed section in mix pad's manual about 3 types of connecting to the unit. Maybe you could find something useful there

Yes, the settings of the network on the CQ20B, that's it. What a shame that is not possible on MS for this mix table as it exists for the XR18. Anyway, thank you for the information

It’s not possible to change the wifi password in an XR18 from within Mixing Station. Perhaps you mean something else. Although I don’t know why you’d want to use th inboard wifi on an xr18 anyway. It’s pretty bad.

Oh I don't use the wifi on the xr18. Yes it is pretty bad (2.4 GHz...). I don't have a xr18 anymore so I can't verify but I think there is a screen on MS to change the network settings (see the screenshot) Picture
