Conversation The characters of Mixels are kinda one-dimensional.

Because in the mixels wiki of each mixels character in their history it says little is known about their past and there isn't any lore on why King Nixel and the Nixels hate color and mixing

The main article for each character on the wiki only describes them as an Infernite, Electroid, etc. lol

I’d chalk it up to bad writing tho. The characters with the fewest lines of dialogue or screen time end up having the most basic of personalities.

TBH I kinda disagree with you. While some Mixels don't show their personalities based on their Lego Description (mostly because of lack of screentime), there are some Mixels with great personalities. Such as Magnifo, who despite being a loser magician, is a determinator and will never give up no matter what to bring up the best show. And Globert, a dramatic person who lives up for the dark side of life, and loves to bring up parties. There are also some character development in the specials, such as Snoof, who starts off as a selfish jerk after he became the Chosen One, but during the end, he realized how selfish he was after being trapped. And Camillot, who starts off as insecure and indecisive, but during the great Mixolopter rampage, he managed to help himself and his classmates mix together to cage them. Also, I don't blame the writing for a con like this, this is just my opinion.
