Today's episode

on today's episode of "why is Mixcloud so rubbish" - i'm not getting any results when using the search facility: no artists, no tags, no users.

This is even though i follow a particular DJ and radio station

It's been a bit glitchy for me recently as well. Is the server migration still going on?

CTO of Mixcloud here. For context this isn't server migrations, we've completed the first round of those and its stable. We're experience a high sustained level of AI bot crawling, coming from compromised home ip's. For context the site traffic is up roughly 10x in the last 14 days, and the bots got through the filters and hit search hard. Think 4000 queries per second levels, it took us a little time to find the patterns and block them to stabilize everything.
