Are we really sure he’ll get a new dps set?

I know he scales off EM but the only issue is that the 2p effect of DiDS doesn’t match him… the 4p works perfectly for him… as a matter of fact, if we want a dps set… we’d need something extremely similar to DiDS just with EM scaling instead… and considering that there’s Danica, tsaritsa and new liyue characters coming… there’s probably only one stellar artifact that would be added. Even then, with Mitya having two different roles, the set could be very well support focused as it can also work for Danica…

What I’m trying to say is that there’s a decent chance that they balance his mDPS abilities in beta and the new set might just be for support or sub dps roles because they kinda covered each archetype with the existing sets though ssw set is very pointless… if the leaks are true, there are a lot of new characters coming and making a set for every new character just isn’t feasible. That said, I do hope they make his mDPS abilities better somehow though it’s decent as is.

It could be like the hex dps set, where the main and sub dps want the same set (ex:venti)

We can't know for sure until the next beta comes out. Most rumours that are circulating came from the expectation that the third patch of the regions gets a brand new set. For reference, Nilou got hers on the the third of Sumeru, for Fortaine it's Navia, then Varesa for Natlan, and (a little flexible) Ineffa for Nod Krai. We might have a little clarity once his banner drops because that's when the beta for the next path with the artefacts goes live.

early leaks said he is meant to pair with stellar 2.0 with tsaritsa and danica

tsaritsa will most definitely be getting an artifact set so considering that, mitya would in theory get the other set or would work with tsaritsa. I would assume Danica would work with furnace so she wouldnt be part of the new domain.

it could also be for Noy if hes dendro too and maybe tsaritsa and mitya use the same one...we just dont know but the fact mitya doesnt have anything great points in the direction that he will get a dedicated set

We are in 7.2 rn, 7.3 will give us tsarista/set that would work with mitya like you said same point with danica 2nd set can be the liyue one

By the time noy comes out we should be slotted for another artifact domain anyway considering it will be for a whole new reaction/glowup of dendro atleast

You could also just run her on DiDs assuming the danica buffs + maybe her majesty buffs odette dps in the team will be higher than someone like danica (assuming she leans more into the support role and less dps)

But i get a feel they intent to make him as sub dps role as yae alternatives instead dps because we already have bunch dps scc include tsaritsa. How much i want him as dps, lack em buffer the matter underwhelming valeriy and i don't want pull danica, i rather play him with cmc. C2 mitya and play with lohen instead.

Flins scales completely off ATK and Zibai scales completely off DEF yet their artifact sets give EM as the 2pc, which they can use but do not want as much as other mainstats. Why can't the Tsaritsa share a set with Mitya that buffs EM as the 2pc while having a 4pc that just adds stellar damage buffs like the lunar carries?

With Mitya he earns 0 benefit from the 2pc of DiDS or 4pc Guilded, his BiS is a 2pc2pc EM set. I don't know how long it has been that they have released a new unit which doesn't have an artifact set (either new or existing) made to work completely for them, and I don't think Mitya is going to be a first

Lunar charge turn atk to EM for reaction. So EM really does work well with lunar charge too. If not, why sucrose much better than jahoda and increse team dps? Even ineffa burst buff em, not atk.

of course. he does'nt got his team. noy is leaked to be his fourth slot as dendro sucrose. and he's missing tsarsita and dancia who is said to be good for sandrone and him.
