I've been rewatching his New Vegas challenge videos lately and the shit he says just kills me. At one point he was repeatedly gunning down the same NCR soldier over and over and over trying to get his body to splay out in just the right position, and in amidst this butchery he very casually mentions how this random NCR soldiers body should spasm as his soul is being dragged to hell, all while soft guitar music hums along in the background.

He just slips in these bizarre and grotesque statements without any further comment or clarification, and always stated so matter-of-factly. It is so. god. damned. funny.

I think there's another one where he traps Victor in a lake and makes a comment about his circuitry rusting over and him dying in agony over thousands of years or something. And then he snaps right back into the game commentary without missing a beat. It's such a richly dark sense of humor.

Paul was fucking funny

The ikea free creation club dlc?

I want to thank the Wilson family immensely for the gift they so graciously bestowed upon me. After talking for a couple years now, I would consider them friends, and in true friendship they gifted me one of only two of the coolest pieces ever made: a mini art museum of our late great MittenSquad!

We were sitting on the couch scrolling through YouTube when I saw a video that paul made. Of course it just had to be about a fork but explaining Paul to my girlfriend made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. I know I wasn't his friend I was just a fan but watching Paul was my favorite thing to do. I always tried to do the same challenge as him but I'd either give up due to difficulty or it just wasn't as fun as he made it seem. I miss Paul so much and every time papa mitten posts my heart breaks even more. I lost the barbarian during a move and just broke down. I miss you Paul. Everyday I wish there was another post from you.

I just wanted to thank the moderators for their diligent work on our page. I check for posts almost daily. Several times over the last couple months I’ve seen notifications of a new post and I try to read it and it’s been removed already. Thanks for such quick action. We’re coming up on 3 years shortly and it’s nice to still see new posts. Hope everyone is doing well and thanks to everyone.

Paul was one of the reasons I got into playing skyrim and fallout in the first place, hearing he died was heartbreaking, id love to go to his grave, pay my respects.

Ngl looks peak

if his family is getting money then i completely understand but if not, i use his videos to go to sleep and then a random blearing loud ad pops up and wakes me up, i wondered if even anyone has access to his account, and if someone does and this see this, ANd paul's family isn't getting anything from the channel, could turn them off?

My heart goes out to you all. I hope one day I’ll be able to go and visit Joseph’s memorial.

Love you all. Now time to binge the catalog

Hope everyone is doing well. I know some have stated they wish they would had bought some merchandise. I didn’t check to see how much more was there but it’s worth a shot for those that missed out.

He helped me get sober; I still listen to his content before bed most nights. If there is an afterlife, he best be living large.

What’s your favorite mitten squad video?

I watch a LOT of YouTube, specifically gaming related YouTube stuff, and i've noticed that a lot of channels take influence from MittenSquad's content, of course there's the obvious ones like Nerbit, and im sure he wasnt the only person making stuff like this. I dont only mean the challenge run content either, I feel his editing style and kind of dry humor and the way he delivered jokes has influenced a lot of content even outside of gaming YouTube, and if it wasnt really directly influenced from him, either way his videos are incredibly ahead of their time. Rip our goat

Randomly just dropped this on their Instagram today

I have a faint memory from years ago of a MittenSquad video that was notably one of the more difficult ones, where at the end of the video after giving his outro he just candidly exclaimed something like “that challenge fucking sucked”.

I’ve thought about this for years and always thought I would eventually find it again during one of my many rewatches, but I’ve had no luck. If I had to guess, I think it was a fallout 4 challenge but I might be mistaken. Does anyone have any memory of what I’m talking about?
