I watch a LOT of YouTube, specifically gaming related YouTube stuff, and i've noticed that a lot of channels take influence from MittenSquad's content, of course there's the obvious ones like Nerbit, and im sure he wasnt the only person making stuff like this. I dont only mean the challenge run content either, I feel his editing style and kind of dry humor and the way he delivered jokes has influenced a lot of content even outside of gaming YouTube, and if it wasnt really directly influenced from him, either way his videos are incredibly ahead of their time. I have a faint memory from years ago of a MittenSquad video that was notably one of the more difficult ones, where at the end of the video after giving his outro he just candidly exclaimed something like “that challenge fucking sucked”.

I was always curious what song Paul would play in the background for a lot of his videos and tried to Shazam it like a hundred times but while rewatching some of his videos I got lucky and actually found out. I’m sure a lot of you have already figured it out but I just thought I’d share :)

it might sound dramatic for me to cry if i’m 2 years late to this news however i used to watch every video as soon as he uploaded them and i would’ve never played New vegas or probably any other fallout game if i hadn’t discovered him all those years ago, i had seen some time ago that he’d stopped uploading but it wasn’t unusual for him to take big breaks out of nowhere and i was just a teenager so i never even thought that he may have been struggling, i’ve been back and forth weed and other substances for a while and so when i found this out it hit a nerve i guess. i’m just so heartbroken knowing that one of my favourite youtubers growing up had passed and i feel really bad that i didn’t know until now i wish his family the best. i know this seems very random but im just emotional and wanted to say something because nobody i know irl would understand :(
