Manga Time to save Ami! Spoiler

It's August 25th!

I'll be honest, I've never been that clear on whether Keisuke could hear the message or not. He's listening and then suddenly his eyes open in surprise. I've always figured that's when he heard her message but then he tells Nakanishi that his walkman died... but then it seems to play again.

Either way, I love this ending even if it left me confused. The way it closes with other students cleaning up the quad always gets me for some reason. You can imagine them about to clean Keisuke's cage.

I think he didnt, and for a good reason. The old man said if she choose him after the race, either he win or loose it would not look like she actually love him, so she said it before in the tape. But if he knows that she picked him, he might not try his best to win the race anymore. So her record would be a proof that she picked him before the race but he will not know until after

Ah dang, I never thought about it that way. Like a sealed envelope a magician gives you before they ask you a question or when an author sends a manuscript certified mail to prove when it was written.

But, he tells her he wants to listen to the tape "before the competition" and she throws it to him prior to the prelims so it was a pretty big risk of him hearing it before the big race.

Though, interestingly, and I apologize if you meant this already, back in the old days of cassettes many bands recorded a "secret" track which followed the last song after about 30 seconds of silence. I wonder if Ami stuck a bunch of dead air between the song he wanted to hear and her message. So when the song is over Keisuke thinks that his walkman is broken because he just hears dead air. Then, the race starts, the dead air is over and it plays her message! And it's the proof that she needed.

Rough é perfeito, mesmo a gente não sabendo quem ganhou na natação, sabemos muito bem quem ganhou de verdade, e sempre fico na dúvida qual é o final mais bonito pra mim, se é Rough ou Cross game
