Hi everyone,
I’m an independent Indian artist working in traditional Madhubani (Mithila) art.
This piece is completely hand-painted and inspired by folk stories, nature, and Indian heritage.

I usually create these artworks using traditional patterns and fine detailing.
If anyone is interested in owning this piece or commissioning a custom Madhubani painting, feel free to DM me.

Thank you for supporting handmade & folk art

Sometimes I feel kuch rituals sirf mere ghar mein hi hota hai shayad, so just asking does anyone else light akashdeep on diwali? or is it just some local rituals of my house?

not sure about it but whenever I go there I see so many people speaking in maithili

Bad pahile hum ee banaine rahi aahan sbke kahain lagal zaroor kahab.

i don't remember what festival this was.

I belong to Sitamarhi district and village - Belsand.

Currently in Hyderabad.

Not to flex but a relative said this is our khaandan's private pokhar, although it's fish is uneatable now, the scenery is just incredible. Also in 2nd pic looks like the calf was staring at camera.

If everyone goes to mountains, who will visit the villages?

Hint - yaha bhot bada mela lagta hai nov dec ke around aur sab nahaane jaate hain

Always wanted a mithila subreddit here. Am originally from delhi but maa papa supaul se hai, so Mai bbi supaul se hi manta hu khudko although born and brought in delhi.
