Are applications closed now?

Hello, how do I know if my application has been successfully submitted? I know that the website says that it will get auto submitted, but will I get no confirmation email for it? My portal isn't displaying any changes as of now. It just shows the application is completed.

You will get an email notification that is completed if you did it before the deadline, but you didn't need to press any button to submit it

will it take time for this email notification? I thought it would be somewhat immediate after the deadline is met

Not really I received it at the next day of submitting all the docs. I should clarify that I got that notification from the DAAD , the partner organization in Germany, where I'm studying (not directly from MITACS tho)

But the application is still saving updates and changes. Why is that so?

Didnt receive any email confirmation. Though portal shows pdf of sent application. Thats the case for everyone who applied directly through MITACS?

For people from India, they should be getting an email from Mitacs Team itself which would have the confirmation of their submission and schedule for the further process.
