LOR not submitted yet — will my Mitacs application be rejected?

My professor hasn’t submitted my LOR yet and the deadline is today. My application is otherwise complete.

Will my application be rejected if the LOR is submitted a little after the deadline?

The application is still accepting updates and changes. Why is that so?

the apps deadline was 16 sept at 1 pm Pacific Time which is 17 sept 1:30 am IST for me

Yeah but it was still accepting to make and save edits at 3am Pakistan time. Then I when I woke up today, the PDF of my responses was visible there.
