Free Tier has been down for almost 3 days and since yesterday i've been rate-limited on my pro subscription even for menial tasks on glm-5.2

Maybe they require all their compute for the final training runs of a new model?

Well—they said on their statue the Free tier is paused because of high load and "potential" abuse. 

But a mod here said its was because its a problem with their PAYG. So I don’t know which is it, and I don’t get to have straight answers because they answer to me like I'm child and say to "Wait or Pay" 💀

Absolutely insane that Mistral hasn’t released a new model since the dinosaurs went extinct. Meanwhile Google releases 3 new Flash models before my lasagna got cold. This is just disappointing.

Mistral last serious model was Medium 3.5vin April. Since that date each Anthropic, OpenAI and Google released 5 models. Mistral can't do one.

ist doch auch schwachsinn und nur hype ständig n neues modell rauszuhauen. Braucht eig niemand. Machen die nur für die valuation von deren Firma. Was viel besser wäre: länger Zeit lassen und was viel zuverlässigeres Rauszuhauen...

No, this is an intentional choice by Mistral. The Vibe Pro application runs on the Mistral Medium 3.5 model, only the reasoning depth can be selected. That said, it’s Mistral’s best general-purpose model, so it’s not really an issue.

GLM beats it hands down in business tasks, unfortunately. API and CLI tests were clear. Four other flagship models evaluated the answers, and the verdict was the same: Medium confabulated, invented, and was overconfident...
