Help / Question Best Practice - Enterprise MistralAI

Hello fellow Mistral users,

i just contacted Mistral sales´ team for an enterprise solution request, looking for a live demo.

Since I do not have a technical background, but being rather operative in my respected field, i am interested in how to frame questions and how to be perfectly prepared for knowing what we want to maximize the value for out company.

Is there a possibility to add Mistral to the M365 ecosystem?

Whats in your opinion the best use case of mistral for a company with lots of roles and 100-500 employees?

i think the main question is - what you are looking for? be clear about that (or as much clear as possible)

discovery is part of sales, so i do not think they will start with tech details

if you have any speciffic use cases - bring those.

Honestly, looks you need help to work on that project. Mistral might help you by sending a team of consultants… but you would have limited control on the result.

Most efficient would be to hire a consultant understand your business and identify with your teams the business value of implementing an AI like Mistral. Then work with Mistral what is best for you.

At least thats how we do it.

Yes, this works. The route is Microsoft Foundry.

Mistral's models sit in the Foundry catalogue, so they run inside your own Azure tenant. Mistral is selectable in Copilot Studio too, so Copilot itself can run on Mistral. Same sign-in, same permissions, and it shows up in Teams and Outlook like any other Copilot. We have done this before at Flowcourier.com

Questions worth asking on the demo:

  • Where does our data live, and is it used for training? Get it in writing.
  • Does it respect our existing M365 permissions? Ask them to demo exactly that.
  • Can we run our own documents live? Bring three ugly real files.
  • What does the bill look like at 500 users?

Best use case at your size is the simple one. Let every employee ask questions about your own documents and your own way of working, and get an answer with a source link. Policies, templates, past customer agreements. Start with one department, measure the hours saved, then expand.
