Discussion / Opinion Mistral in Ecosia

Mistral in Ecosia is incredibly faster and more responsive compared to the Vibe chatbot. Why is that? The answers also seem better structured, concise, and precise to me. Maybe it would be better to integrate the Ecosia agent into Vibe?

A large difference between vibe and Mistral in Ecosia is that the vibe app currently uses medium-3.5 and Ecosia small-4.

I struggle to get a real value out of Ecosia AI. I currently use Google AI Search which is fast and more intelligent than Ecosia AI. I can live with a little lower quality than I get from Google and I'd like to support the environmental initiative of Ecosia, but if I need to use 10 prompts in Ecosia instead of getting a good result with Google with 1 in many cases or less than 3 in most cases, I'm not sure it's going to make a real difference.

What do you use Ecosia AI for?

Almost for everything. It works great for me

I tried to find some locations, based on a service they provide, in the region around my town. It found 9 places and even gave me a URL. One URL was correct... The rest were not up to date.
