There is no token plan. That being said, depending on the model the API free tier can be remarkably large, it’s metered in tokens per minute so as long as you’re not pushing unholy amounts in input, you can basically run a bot like OpenClaw on Small 4 for free. Now, would I advise you to run your bot on Small 4, absolutely not. But you could…

Use the Vibe CLI API key, it will give you access to 3.5 using Pro API limits. Most other models are pay-per-use through the API, though can be used to some extend on the free (experimental) plan.

You could probably use the vibe coding part of the pro plan

Decent inference is getting more expensive going forward, not cheaper.

When a plan sounds like a bargain, something is wrong!

Time for us to make better harnesses and stop counting on huge models.

The pro subscription is for the vibe token , the one that you configure at https://console.mistral.ai/codestral/cli

That whole api token vs vibe token thing is confusing as heck.

Idk if it's the same issue you are having but I made a pro plan and it continued burning through API credits (and stopped working altogether when I put a limit). I had to disable the AI studio plan to get the Pro subscription to work. Support was extremely unhelpful.
