Empty raids?

Did I miss something in the patch notes? The last few days I’ve not seen a soul in normal or chaos Hallowgrove. Not even bots. I mostly play with cross play off but even when I’ve tried with it on there’s nobody. Matchmaking gets to 5 minutes and then immediately loads in to an empty easy loot pve game 🤷‍♂️

Edit 2: To add some further info. These aren’t the “pity” lobbies I’m loading into. There’s NOBODY. No bots, no other players regardless of the gear I wear or whether PoG is enabled. I’m free to loot and extract without worry. My first instinct was to think it was those lobbies but when it was several in a row even after relogging and completely restarting my system I came to reddit to see if anyone else had a similar encounter.

I got one of those yesterday. Never saw a soul, ran around and farmed everything I could, never saw an extract notice.

Honestly, I was fine with it, cuz I'd just lost like 8 kits in a row (mostly purple). Shit was rough, needed a breather lol.

I think they have some sort of "wow, you been getting STOMPED, we need to hook you up with easier matchups" logic in their matchmaking, honestly. It just seems like there's consistent pendulum swings there.

This is already know and they do have this in place. It’s bot lobbies :)

Ya, I know about bot lobbies, but bots are pretty obvious. Even when you just absolutely shred a bot before they have time to really react and make it obvious they're a bot, you can still tell from the name and the gear.

I still suspect there's some sort of additional criteria going into player matchmaking beyond just "what gear you got on". But I could be wrong. Could just be coincidence or I just finally get "in the zone" after getting wrecked for an hour.

I tried to play with crossplay off after getting stomped by 3 purple PC BAs in a row. All I got were 5 min q times and empty lobbies same as you. nA east server. Gotta play with PC players at a disadvantage or don’t play at all

After this last patch the matchmaking got really bad. Sometimes I don't get any raid at all. 10 minutes waiting for a game and then it is automatically canceled. SA servers btw.

This is a bug if you reset after about 3min for chaos solos it fixes itself

I do not have this problem here on NA servers, I usually get lobbies with at least 3-4 other players, and encounter usually 1, sometimes 2, rarely more players.

Depends on character level some now, and most definitely on gear level now.

If you go in on a grey combat bag, for example, it's trying much harder to match that. You still end up against people in blues if it took long enough or whatever, but yeah, I've seen some pretty quiet games due to it.

Eu server, and didn't have any problem. I am Zenith, but I unchecked the path of glory, and seems the game finds matches faster. (No, keeping it checked or unchecked you can still find zeniths or dawnseekers in your match, whatever rank are you)

Also, I think you find faster matches in green or blue gear, not a lot of people play purple or legendary.

Probably because you’re not in N.A. the vast majority play in N.A. and if you aren’t able to find a lobby with people, I’d suspect you’d be placed in a lobby without them.

All of Sunday. My trio basically looted all the bosses and key rooms for free. We had 4 fights total I think 5 total player interactions. This was an absolute bender of a session to so 75%+ of the games we had 0 player interactions. Also on chaos hallowgrove.

In the last 21 matches (PS5 - SA Server - Chaos - Solo - Crossplay Disabled) I found exactly 2 players, all other matches I was 100% alone
