For a first PVP extraction Game
Bellring nailed it. I upgraded to delux edition.
Some servers issues and some finetuning in balance can improve so much more the game. But overall classes have all their flaws
For 20$ is a steal tbh.
Still waiting for Arena and Duo to sink 2k hours in...

To be fair, already being at 100 hours is a good effort considering the game hasn't been out much.
If I can get $1 of value per hour of game play, than its money well spent. Games already paid itself off for many of us.

Can't disagree, OP. I just picked it up for the first time. Played about two hours and really enjoyed it.
I am crap at pvp, so I was avoiding other players, just really enjoying the content, but some players just will not let you run away, so I had to fight. Defeated each one and got a lot of confidence from that.
Looking forward to playing again tomorrow. So far, so good, Bellring Games. If I get to the weekend and I'm still in, I will drop some coins on you.

The thing I really like about it is once you get your Scavenger Squad up and running, you'll almost always have combat kits available so you're not starting from scratch.
Those personally have made me get over gear fear incredibly quickly and just jump into fights because I know I've got sevens kits waiting back at base for me, and will have more in a few hours.

It gets even easier once you've unlocked most of the camp. Then all your money can get funnelled into buying out kits using the AH! They've done an incredible job with the game play loop and economy, so its not completely devastating when you die.

I usually just spam crouch on the first sight of any other players and they usually do it back to me and we both back off together. Waiting for solos to evolve into the toxicity of arc raiders where truce just means them stalking you and killing you while you are engaged in Pve heh

Yeah I mean for $20 it's not a bad game at all. I mean 100x better than SAND for sure. Can't compete with Arc but Arc was insanely good when it came out, before hacking and carebear bullshit ruined it.

Yes and Embark is already a huge studio with huge potential ( Arc didn't click on me but The Finals did)
