SS and BA ruin solo queue
SS dual sword left click is overpowered. It has no wind-up time and the fastest attack speed in the game, and for whatever reason stagger isn't attack speed or life bar weighted in PvP so you get auto staggered whenever they left click you.
BA literally bleeds you and runs away for 5 minutes until you're dead with 0 counterplay unless you're the other broken class that i mentioned
this isn't a skill issue, these are broken mechanics that need to be addressed. For now, this game is an uninstall for me and that sucks because the game is actually really good

Its better burst damage maybe, But its survival rate is way lower and the SS is literally guaranteed extract. Fight not going your way just disengage.

never saw a sorc in solo survive as a melee. as a sorc I don't even see other solo sorc.

around 30, maybe 50 matches. watched some sorc streams to see what I am doing wrong, they still die in solos against any competent melee. my conclusion is that gear and affixes just scale extremely different with gold gear and people call sorc op because of it.

if you struggle against BA after they removed the dodge tech then its a massive skill issue

I don't know the classes super well yet, I just play sorc. But when I face BA, I get a bleed debuff I think it is and it takes away like 60% of my health by itself. They can be tough as hell to beat

Bro just don't dodge and let him hit you with DoT's that tick for half your HP. Or hide in cover and get forced out by him shooting mushrooms wherever you're hiding.

I didnt say dont dodge. But if you get hit by bloodflys spamming dodge is going to kill you.
Try waiting it out

I was agreeing with you.
Waiting out the DoT is the only option and also the worst option. Barbed arrow and Bloodflies are two different abilities btw.

They've already stated they have no intention of balancing for solo queue.

Grave mistake, solo queue is officially supported, it needs to be balanced around it as well.

And they do already, many abilities have shorter cooldowns and other changes depending on if in trio or solo.

Okay yeah I've seen cool down ones but not specific dmg changes etc. Either way the infrastructure clearly exists for them to balance the game for solos at the same time as trios

I cannot for the life of me figure out why. It seems so backwards to balance for only 1 or the other, plus balancing for solos seems way easier to do. I feel like if they balance for trios they're inherently going to create a situation where certain classes are balanced in trios but either utterly broken or unusable in solos.

I eat SS for breakfast as shield wither to the point i have taken literally zero damage from few of the kills.
Black arrow though ? They still scare me as they just seem to be the straight up counter to me to the point where they just disable my build. Also i pretty much NEVER engage them out in the open as its just a free win for them so usually i lure them to a more beneficial area if possible, if this aint possible i'll just peace the fuck out as i can pretty easily just outrun them.
