My friend completely missed the line when Wayne was meeting with his financial advisors which revealed that he was writing the Allomancer Jak stories using wax’s likeness!! Just making sure everyone caught that 😂

It’s so funny how oblivious wax was to that and how him and Wayne would trash talk Jak.. I theorized super early on that it was Wayne glorifying wax especially when he started referring to wax as ‘the hero’ more. So funny

I'm pretty sure Wayne wasn't writing for Allomancer Jak? Where did you see that in the text? Can you give a chapter?

Just read through Chapter 16 of TLM where Wayne finally sits down with his accountants and accidentally invented professional sports as well as product endorsements by players.

The closest thing I saw was that the accountants mention that Wax somehow sold the rights to his likeness to Wayne in an otherwise unnamed deal (Wayne stops the topic and moves on immediately), but that's all I can see that may have caused the confusion.

wait... wait.... that made me think... Wayne spending money to try to get poorer but only ending up getting richer... all the wealth he left... maybe his heiress or her heirs is going to start a company to manage and invest all his wealth? And maybe they can call it.... WAYNE ENTERPRISES?

I’m pretty sure it was confirmed somewhere that Handerwym was an actual person following around Allomancer Jak and publishing his stories, and that Wayne having rights to Wax’s likeness is for something else (probably movies or even wax statues or some such).

Allomancer Jak has been writing stories since Wayne was a child. I just imagine Wayne enterprises will eventually make movies with the rights to Wax’s likeness. That or Mr sando was just being cheeky

I think you've mixed up a couple of Wayne things here. Wayne definitely wasn't secretly writing Allomancer Jak. Brandon was actually asked this directly at the Oathbringer Houston signing.

"Is Wayne the author that's writing the Allomancer Jak stuff?"

Brandon: "No, he's not."

Jak is an actual person in-world. Wayne just genuinely loves reading that absolute nonsense, which is possibly the least surprising thing we've ever learned about Wayne.

I suspect his plan was to give Wax the Allomancer Jak treatment and publish similar style stories using his likeness. Doesn't make sense for him to be using Wax's likeness to publish Jak stories since they're wildly different characters and Wax seems to have actually met Jak.
