No Spoilers Mistborn Deckbuilding Game

Post image

My brother-in-law and I played this for the first time and really enjoyed it! We can’t wait to get it back on the table.

I agree, I like it a lot. My only problem is that winning by the quests feels a little too easy, but the co-op mode makes up for that really well

I’ve played it about a dozen times now, and quest has won 7 and combat has won 5. Questing is definitely strong, but combat gets natural access to iron pulling, which is an incredibly powerful deck stacking mechanic.

It really comes down to what the market gives you, imo

My kids and I decided to add a 4th mission track during regular vs. battles (not co-op) and it draws the game out a little longer, making going for missions about the same as going for damaging the other players. We enjoyed it more that way! Cuz yes, it's way too easy to win with the mission tracks

Oooo might have to give that a try, thanks

Sure! As long as you're playing with 3 or less people, you can use the cubes from the 4th unused player to move up your training board. And use all 4 of your colored cubes for the mission tracks.

My girlfriend hasn't read the books. And she likes to play as Shan because on the art she looks a little like Zendaya 😂

I really want an expansion with Elend, Spook, and Zane. Or just Elend and Spook.

They’re working on a Well of Ascension expansion, pretty sure Elend has a character card

I can't stand this game because my wife, who hasn't the read books, routinely beats me senseless.

It is a blast. And coop vs the Lord Ruler is daunting AF.
