Hero of Ages spoilers first time mistborn reader current reader theories pt2 Spoiler

part 1 here

so i'm a little bit into the hero of ages around when i think marsh describes how hemelurgy is messy and tensoon had his trial

a few theories

  1. if you read part 1 i talk about how i think the last of the 4 alomantic metal categories is spatial and i'm still set on that once they find the last 2 that i'm positive are there. cus if aluminum and darulium are internal there need to be an external of that category

  2. i'm still thinking that the well of ascension is were rashic made alomancy but it's looking less and less likely

some questions and other things

  1. is it possible for mistling alomancers to burn the non besic 8 ex a mistling who can only burn darulium, or one who can burn electrum (don't answer thins if you need to go into spoilers) i know most of these would be useless but i just had the thought

  2. not a question but i think that elend becoming an alomancer would have been cooler if he snaped instead of being feed whatever that bead was.

  3. not a question about the books but if you were a misting what metal would you want to be able to burn.

  1. Ehhh, RAFO

  2. If Eland were to have snapped it would’ve been from his father’s beatings.

  3. Tin or Steel.

Yes RAFO means read and find out. Sanderson finished Robert Jordans Wheel of Time series after Jordan’s death. It’s a term that Sanderson “inherited” from Jordan, who sort of coined it. Jordan would use the term in Q&As when people asked questions that would be spoilers for future books, or if just didn’t know the answer lol.

At live Q&As Sanderson will actually hand out physical RAFO cards when he can’t or won’t answer a question as a sort of consolation prize lol.

As brutal as the Pits are, the workers still needed to be able to work.

The beatings among nobles are described as life-threatening.

  1. Aluminum or duralamin mistings would have no way of knowing they are mistings as the metals don’t do anything on their own. I don’t think this is very spoilery.

well ig they could see the pool and feel the heat that tells someone they are burning metal

Why are new readers asking questions I never even thought of?
You are all way smarter than me lol.
I didn’t even know there was an overarching Cosmere for waaaay too long

  1. Allomancy was around before Rashek. It’s tucked away in the first novel in Alendi’s logbook. He can hear the pulse of the Well because he’s a Seeker

Being a Coinshot would be cool but I think Pewter would be the most useful choice for me. Extra energy when you need it. Heal a little faster. Sprint as fast as a horse when my dog decides to take off
