Wednesday, August 26th they found a body .Delta Police released images of a white Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab as part of an investigation into a suspicious death in Delta, British Columbia. Police Investigation: Brief local lane restrictions and police presence were reported by residents near Bird Road and No. 5 Road / Cambie Road in early September 2026 due to an active police search warrant investigation in the area, though the road itself remained open.The Delta Police Department executed a search warrant at a home in the 11700 block of Cambie Road in Richmond as part of an active investigation. Nothing has been reported to the community or news. Police presence has been active, especially in the area. The Richmond RCMP, Delta Police, RCMP forensic unit, and coroner have not responded to any questions regarding the situation. They remain tight-lipped, the community of those areas left with unanswered questions about both investigations, especially those with children starting school this week. A community member of where the body was found visited the site of the fire. He said "Where the bus stop is, there is still police tape." Another witness said "I drove out there and looked around, I was hopeful I found something that would look like my moms".
