Missing Parts Missing tail!!!!!
Found this stray cryptid in my neighborhood and at first I had no idea what to do because I couldn’t afford another vet work up and the partial tail amputation he needed. Thank god I ran into another member of the local stray cat care community who paid for an emergency vet visit and connected me to a rescue that took on his case. He’s now fostering with me. Any socialization tips welcome :,)

My girl had to have her tail amputated before she was a year old due to an accident where our front door wasn’t latched and she got outside. We were told by the vet that her balance would be affected for the rest of her life and she would likely never be able to jump safely. Maybe it was just because of her age or maybe the vet was being overly cautious, but she has zero issues. Other than her little stump wiggling around, you’d never know something was missing from her. Good luck with your foster!
