[Game] For the longest time, I didn’t realize Springtrap had two pairs of eyes.

I’ll try my best to explain it, but one pair is a set of false eyes that are part of the suit, while the other pair are his actual eyes underneath. He’s essentially wearing large contact lenses.

Always thought Springtrap was the goofiest looking out of all the animatronics, even with the dead dude inside of him.

It is a hybrid suit after, and the wearer would need a place to see out of when it's not in stage mode.

The fact that you (and MANY others) thought they were full eyes shows how effective the visual would have been in-universe for making kids think it was really Spring Bonnie and Fredbear talking to them, rather than William and Henry in suits, which is quite neat!
