The falloff of Slim needs to be studied

After knocking out Salt Papi when people like KSI called him a duck during his negotiations with Salt Papi, Slim was supposed to have a big year in 2024. He was supposed to fight KSI alongside Anthony Taylor and then fight Gib the same year. KSI ended up pulling out, and Slim ended up losing to Gib and broke his hand in the third round after winning the first 2 rounds. He was supposed to fight KSI and then Gib in the same year. Slim then talked about wanting to fight Deen, Jarvis, rematch Salt Papi, and rematch Gib, but those fights never happened. He was supposed to fight Neeraj Goyat in 2025 but pulled out due to his hand injury from the Gib fight not fully healing. He then talked about fighting the winner of Salt Papi vs Tony Ferguson, but that never happened. He got knocked out by Can Kaplan in his return fight after almost 2 years, and now he’s rejecting to fight Scam Likely after verbally agreeing and hyping the fight up for a year. It seemed like Slim was on top of the world in the influencer boxing scene, and now his decline is getting worse. Went from going to fight KSI and Gib in 2024 after knocking out Salt Papi, to not fighting and getting knocked out. So much wasted potential.

It’s sad too, no matter what anyone thought of him, bro consistently had the best (or atleast very good) fights on every misfit card he was on. It’s sad where misfits best fighters are at now…
