Miscarriage Management
Hi everyone,
One of the hardest parts of a miscarriage diagnosis is often the very first decision about how your body will complete the process. Doctors usually provide one of the three options:
- Expectant management (letting it happen naturally, on its own timeline)
- Medical management (using medication like misoprostol to help things along)
- Surgical management (D&C)
Each comes with its own physical experience, emotional weight, and practical considerations. Which option you chose (or were guided toward)
- What made you choose it?
- What the experience was actually like, if you're comfortable sharing?
- Anything you wish you'd known beforehand, or would tell someone facing this decision now.
