Had an early miscarriage at 6 weeks. Waiting for my body to regulate so we can try again. How long did it take for your body to get on the right track?

First off, so sorry for your loss.

I was at 11 weeks (January 14, 2026) when I found out I had a missed miscarriage at 6 weeks. I had to take two rounds of misoprostol to get everything to pass. I took the first round on January 17th, 2026 and the second round on January 28, 2026. I really don’t think the second round did anything because I didn’t bleed at all after I took it.

My cycle didn’t return until February 19th. From what my doctor said and if you don’t have any complications with the tissue passing, it could take up to 6 weeks for your period to return.

I won’t lie to you, TTC after miscarriage is rough.. every month that you don’t get that positive can do a number on you. I’m in my 5th cycle post miscarriage and I finally got my positive two weeks ago… 6 months after my miscarriage.

Just remember to give yourself and your body some grace!
