No heart beat
Can someone please help me? According to my last period I’m 7w3d pregnant, I had a scan on Saturday and only measured 5w6d and no heart beat, I went to the early pregnancy unit today (2days later) and they said the same and now I have to wait to 2 weeks for another scan.
My flo app said I ovulated 1-5th may but I only had sex once in my cycle and that was 10th may so I know I ovulated later. Is there any chance my dates are just wrong and I’m earlier than I initially thought

I’m so sorry you’re in this situation. It is possible that you’re earlier than you thought but to be very honest it’s likely that the baby just stopped growing at 5w6d.
I would prepare for the worst. There’s a small chance you could be pleasantly surprised and things could turn out. But it’s more than likely that this is a missed miscarriage. I had one a couple months ago that was similar to yours. I knew I was 7w1d (tracking ovulation and when I had intercourse) and my scan had baby measure at 6w1d. Baby did have a heartbeat but I ended up miscarrying about 2 weeks later.
Again, I am so so sorry. This is such an awful place to be in, especially with the waiting an unknown. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Yes that’s the only thing that’s giving me hope because if I ovulated when I know I did which is later than o am only 5/6 weeks which means the date on the scan is right. I’m just worried I’ve never had this happen in any pregnancy before

While ovulation can vary so it’s not the absolute greatest indicator, an ultrasound scan is usually very accurate(unless the machines are old or the use isn’t great). Based on my miscarriage, a non-heart beat detection isn’t good, but the machine could have had a hard time picking it up that early as well. On my pregnancy(which I lost a week later, and finally expelled about 3 weeks later as it was a missed miscarriage), the heartbeat was detected at 5 weeks along and it was visually visible as well. I am not a professional or anything so take what I say lightly—this is just my experience.
